  We had a great time here, nice rooms with views, and very friendly staff. The food was great, and the waitresses were really nice, always making sure we had everything we needed! I would return to this hotel again, no question!!

  Suitable Istanbul city hotel

  This is probably the perfect location for a "city hotel on Istiklal" – literally dozens of meters from the Şişhane metro station and the Tunel funicular. There are dozens of bars and shops nearby (well, that's understandable – it's Istiklal, after all). And, of course, there's a restaurant upstairs, on a covered veranda, where breakfast is served, with stunning views of the city and the Bosphorus. The breakfast menu is quite adequate for a city hotel, but I wasn't quite sure about the coffee situation, as only filter coffee was available on the first day, and no coffee at all on the second (though this time we arrived at breakfast time at 7 a.m. – perhaps it just wasn't ready yet).Our room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy even with the window closed, but it didn't bother us. The room had everything we needed, but be prepared for the limited space of standard rooms: for example, in our triple room, our rather large luggage took up a lot of space with the extra fold-out bed. The hotel staff has received nothing but positive reviews and compliments, including for the visible security controls (room key required for elevator access, luggage tags in the storage locker after checkout). Overall, if the hustle and bustle of Istiklal Street doesn't bother you, I can confidently recommend this place as an Istanbul city hotel with excellent views from the veranda and upper floors, a prime location in the tourist district, and excellent public transportation access.

  It’s by far the BEST hotel in istanbul . I have been to many others in the past but since 2 years I have been coming back to Ring stone hotel and I highly recommend it .. All areas spotless clean . All staff super kind , always smiling and ready to help , best view for the best breakfast. You start your day with a breathtaking view. Rooms although small but well maintained and have everything you need . And on top of all , metro station is 2 steps away and you are in the heart of Istiklal , you feel safe even at 2 am walking alone . A very special thanks to the lovely Meltem who helped me with the reservation and for her kind attention, and to all the wonderful staff . Ring Stone became my home in istanbul ❤️.

  The best location ever… the best service in Istanbul, the best view… and that is only the beginning. They upgraded my reservation free of charge so we can accommodate better, they made us feel at home every day. A superb breakfast overlooking the dusk over the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. The location: near everything, located at Istiklal, just steps away from Sishane Beyoglu Túnel metro station, in front of the nostalgia tram first station, one block from the funicular station to Karaköy and just 3 blocks from GALATA Tower with all these around, you have all Istanbul in the palm of your hands. Good stores all around, good food, some consulates and all the party you need… at least 3 Irish pubs…All personnel is aware of all your needs and for those who are in the path, just next door you have a Masonic lodge.
