  Great location and lobby, but rooms are basic

  The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to walk to and from many places worth visiting or strolling around. The design and atmosphere of the lobby on the ground floor are very nice, and the front desk staff are friendly, welcoming, and able to provide necessary assistance promptly. However, the quality and details of the rooms feel somewhat inferior compared to the impression given by the lobby — they seem more like a budget hotel suitable for everyday business travel. But, if you stay in a high-floor room with a balcony, the view is excellent.

  After a bad experience with another location from Istanbul, we found this lovely hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights. Very good location and very helpful staff. Especially Mustafa from the reception was very helpful.

  The hotel is truly beautiful and very stylish. There are so many lovely and thoughtful details in the design, everything feels very carefully curated. I especially loved the atmosphere.We were given an amazing room on the 8th floor, and the overall experience was wonderful.I was also celebrating my birthday during my stay, and the hotel made such a sweet gesture by sending me a lovely cake it was really special and appreciated.Everyone at the hotel was very attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable.Special thanks to Serhat Bey for his kindness and help, he made our stay even more enjoyable.Highly recommended!   An excellent experience and perfect stay!

  Staying at Root Hotel was such an incredible experience. The whole place feels like pure art—the architecture and design are amazing. Our room was spotless, and we loved the spa facilities!The sauna, steam bath, and jacuzzi were the perfect way to relax and are included in the price!The food is amazing - traditional Turkish breakfast, and eating at the restaurant with that spectacular view was definitely a highlight of the trip. The localization is also perfect for exploring Istanbul. Being in Karaköy right by the Galata Tower means you are surrounded by so many great restaurants and shops.What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. A huge thank you to Befru Guest Relations and the entire reception team—Ali, Serhat, Omer, and Mustafa—for being so helpful for all advices and everyday smile. Also, a special shoutout to Yusuf, Mustafa, and Enes at the restaurant for the great service. They really make you feel at home. I can’t wait to come back!   Relaxing stay

  I stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights, and was very pleased with all amenities. Clean rooms, good breakfast and very helpfull staff.I had a few extra wishes, extra towels, additional toiletry supplies, dinner reservations at restaurants etc. and all was done with no problem in short time.During my stay I booked a 60min relax massage. The spa was clean and aesthethic, and the massage was done by a professional. I can only recomend this hotel.
