  The worst accommodation of our lives

  The worst accommodation of our lives. We booked 2 rooms for 11 nights, one for our Mum and another for me and my sister, but me and my sister went 2 days to Capadoccia and left our 2 big suitcases on the reception of the hotel as they said they will keep them. When we came back to this hotel they gave us our suitcases completely destroyed, all the things inside were soakimg wet, smelly and dirty and suitcases were swollen with water on the inside out. They said they had a problem with some hot water pipe. All our belongings were destroyed, clothes wet and dirty. Laptop charger not working, our bags destroyed, everything. They didn’t want to help us on any way nor they took the responsability for their negligence. When we paid them 55€ in cash 1 day before going to Capadocia they washed and dried in the same day our clothes (and destroyed some in the process) but when we requested that they wash and dry our clothes now from the wet suitcases they didn’t want to. When we paid they did but when they destroyed all our things they didn’t want to help us at all. The hotel manager was rude to us and said it was not their fault and literally “there is nothing we can do for you”. We had our flight the next day to go back home but we couldnt give our suitcases on the airport because they were to heavy because everything was wet so we spent our last day in Istanbul drying the suitcases with hair dryer and all our clothes and things. We would never go back to this horrible place. My Mum is 60 years old and they destroyed her last day in Turquey, she couldnt understand why would they treat us like that. We have videos and photos of everything and we are filling a lawsuit to this hotel for neglicence and lack of help, empathy and compassion. I am leaving photos of how we needed to dry our clothes all around the room and how dirty everything was, they destroyed expensive clothes brands like Adidas, maje, Massimo Dutti, Zara. Apart from that there was hummidity in the bathroom, shower extremely dirty, the recipient for shampoo was broken so we couldnt take any, wifi wasn’t working properly. In general photos of the hotel on booking.com are heavily edited and in person it doesn’t look that good. The coffee from the machine for breakfast was horrible we couldnt drink it.

  Bad Breafast, Poor Service, Not Value for Money

  Most unkind and entirely money minded with no hospitality, especially towards female solo travellers. They have added fake filters in make my trip about having an elevator. I had to search for a hotel with elevator because of my knee problem. This property does not have an elevator and when questioned about why it’s updated so they receptionists talk in a very silly way .. saying we don’t know how .. coming to the breakfast which was very pathetic.. even before it’s 10-30 they start removing things in an unprofessional manner. The rooms are small as well.No safety lockers in the room.The next day I found a more good hotel just in walking distance, as they asked me to go to third floor without elevator not considering my knee problem. Unkind, In hospitable.

  Positive: • Great location, within walking distance to most tourist attractions. • Very helpful staff. • Rooms were a good size.Negative: • Rooms could do with more cleaning. • Breakfast was a complete letdown: unhygienic and poor quality.

  This hotel is just a short walk from many of the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Haghia Sofia and even Topkapi Palace). Clean, well laid out and a relaxing place to be.Roof terrace (tables and chairs, hammock) was lovely and offered a fantastic view, including a sea view. We were given the option of taking our breakfast up there, too, but never got round to it. Breakfast was excellent with a really good range of different things. The room was small but comfortable and there was a safe and a kettle and coffee/tea. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is a lovely lounge area next to reception with very comfy chairs and a small library of books, and we were offered tea and coffee when waiting for a shuttle one day. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here; I wish we had stayed longer.

  Lovely family holiday however it could have been better!

  Very nice and stylish hotel with quirky little features. Lovely breakfast, the lady serving the breakfast was always smiling and this really set your day off to a good start.We travelled as a family of 8 (5 adults 3 kids) we booked 2 family rooms, one of them was the queen room with Seaview and wraparound balcony. Rooms were spacious and clean only downside to all this was that my son who was on holiday with us and his 3 young kids had lots of problems with the AC his room and there was a foul smell that hit you when you came into the room. He also had a power cut in his room for a few hours and an engineer had to be called out to fix it. We complained repeatedly for 4 days about the AC and eventually they offered my son a smaller room with no Seaview even though we had paid for the bigger room but refused to give a partial refund for the downgrade or offer a free airport transfer! On the 4th day they sent the man who did the breakfast to do a DIY job but it resolved the issue. We booked for 8 nights however my son only really got to enjoy 4 of them for the above reasons. If we didn't have the issues mentioned above I would have rated it 5 stars however I feel it's important to share customer experiences.
