  Dusty room, old bathroom, dirty and dusty balcony

  We booked a room with balcony (roof-top terrace) (it was the highest price on the website at that time). But the room that we got, was not what was described on the website. Our room was old, dusty, old furniture, old bedsheets and blankets, old bathroom with black mould in the shower cabin and between tiles, old air-condition, dusty and unclean very very dusty (almost blackish dust) balcony. There was a double bed and single bed. There were large windows with old, flimsy , dusty curtains, which did not offer enough privacy during the day or night ( considering that the room faced rooms/accomodation on the other side of the street). The roof-top terrace aka balcony is not suitable as it is very very dusty and dirty. There were no lifts, and we had to climb many stairs with luggage, and baby stroller. Upon checking in, I immediately called the internet website which I booked from, and complained. But it was almost midnight, and we were in a foreign country, and we had children who were tired and sleepy.On our way down one morning, we noted the cleaner cleaning the room below...and that room looked like the one on the website.I guess we got short-changed, or maybe they ran out of rooms that time.The hotel is located on the hilly part of Istanbul. You will have to walk up hill, to go to the Istanbul shopping/tourist area. Therefore not suitable for people with baby strollers, or disability.

  This hotel is nice and they have good service and the ones working there are kind always laughing and mister Yusuf the owner he is very kind and he help people I enjoyed there and I am visiting Istanbul and I will go there another time. It's near sultanahmet and the blue mosque and Aya Sofia and near sultanahmet tram station

  We stayed at Serdivan Apart Hotel for 5nights last October 2015. Really great location and very central, just a short walk from Sultanhamet, The Blue mosque, Haya Sofia and The Grand Bazaar, etc. We were looking for something central and we found it here and at a great price. The hotel is located in a safe area, my sister and I walked went out at night , no problem. Yusef is very, very friendly and helpful and sees to all your needs. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

  we arrived late ,and because the place was being renovated were given a superior apt., it was excellent up one flight of stairs,which I could just manage,no lift here, so any mobility problems ,then this will not suit. The staff were very very helpful ,again have to point out VERY hilly area and narrow streets, loads of steps to Plenty of small restaurants about and just a short walk to the Tramway(cheap at about 50p per journey) Close to everything you would want to see, would have given 5 stars for a wee lift in the building...all in all great value for money . Thank you to all the staff

  Rooftop serenity

  The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in for 3 nights was simple and clean. Yusuf was welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations on which sites to see and where to eat. It was easy to walk/tram to many of the sites in Old City. Relaxing on the rooftop terrace was the perfect way to end the day.
