Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 7-storey building with 2 lifts and 54 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).     First Things first, this hotel is in a superb location right in the heart of the old town and a stone’s throw from key transportation links. Room was decent as was the terrace buffet breakfast overlooking the Bosphorus. Staff very friendly and accommodating as witnessed by their welcome at 03.20 AM when we arrived back from seeing the mighty Villa secure their Europa cup win!

    Arguably Everything You Need From a Bed&Breakfast

    Just came back from a 5-night stay at Seres. The expectations seem to have been surpassed - the hotel offers just what you need for a great solo travelling experience. The rooms were properly cleaned, the food at breakfast tasted amazing (though the choice of the dishes was not the widest, quality easily beats quantity this time), the hotel staff eagerly offered their help at any request. Consider that due to the heating system widespread in Turkey it may seem either rather cold in the room in a winter season (found it chilly at times even in March) or quite dry when the heating is on. One may also find the buzzing of trams to be disturbing - for those having sleep issues a higher floor would be a perfect choice. I myself found the above sounds quite soothing though:)BTW the apartment on a higher floor might also offer a cooler room view (it was mostly shops and crossing trams from the room on the 2nd floor). THANK YOU, Seres Team. Definitely looking forward to a comeback one day!TL;DR: great for a city roamer, a nice BB in the historic centre

    We stayed for two nights at the hotel, the staff were amazing - very helpful, attentive, personal. The rooms were spotless. Even though the room was facing a busy street, it didn't seem too noisy at night. Breakfast had a great choice of cheeses and pastries.

    We had diner on the terrace. Food was great. Views were great. Watched the sun go down over Asia. Staff was great. The DJ and violinist were a perfect touch. Wish we'd found this place earlier. We would definitely go back again.

    The Rooftop restaurant is a great place to eat. Wonderful views, good food with exceptional service provided by Ozgun and Ilyas. We could not have had a better final night in Istanbul. Thanks to all at the Serez for a memorable dining experience.
