    An ideal base for the must-see sights

    This is a reasonably priced hotel ideally placed for the top tourist sights in the Old Town. Like, really close: five minute walk to Hagia Sofia, 6 or 7 to Topkapi, 5 to the Blue Mosque. My room was clean and comfortable but nothing special. If I was coming back to Istanbul (great city!) I would stay in a different neighbourhood, but there are sights you need to see, and this was an ideal base for them.

    We stayed here for two nights and liked it. The room was clean, small, quiet, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was small but clean, with nice towels. The breakfast was fine too. The gentleman at reception was very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we knew where we were going and that our stay was enjoyable.The location of this hotel is perfect for sightseeing in the historic Sultanamet area of Istanbul. Major highlights are a short stroll away, and navigation is quite easy.
