Location

The hotel is situated in one of Istanbul's most colourful and historic quarters, close to the Hippodrome of Constantinople where most of the city's tourist attractions are located. The Grand Bazaar is just a 10-minute walk and the Blue Mosque is 100 m from the hotel. The Beyoğlu district with its colourful nightlife and cultural ambiance is approximately 3 km away and all are easily reached by public transport. The tram, bus and railway stations are all within walking distance.

Facility

The hotel has a suite, 2 single rooms and 7 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     A Great Disappointment

    We had great expectations for our stay here, given its position in the Old Town, the photos and its history as an old Ottoman house.As soon as we arrived we realised our expectations were not going to be met. The breakfast area was in the foyer, it looked more like a youth hostel.Our room was a standard room- it looked like a student bedsit from the 1960s. Sparse, small with cheap ‘wooden’ furniture on the 4th floor overlooking a very loud construction site.It was truly awful affording nothing in the way of comfort, and looking nothing like the photos used to advertise the place.A small tray with 2 cups and a couple of sachets of something sat on the side. When I asked the manager about a kettle- he said hot water was available from a kettle in the lobby- down from the 4th floor! We sat for an hour deciding what to do coming to the conclusion to move elsewhere. Fortunately we found another hotel in the Old Town which offered far more in the way of comfort and a proper restaurant.

    Spot on. Stayed here three times now. Right next to blue mosque. Front desk staff are brill. Breakfast is basic but nice. I am going again in Easter.

    Excellent location, easy walk to all sights. Hotel staff very helpful, booked our airport transfers and local tours. Would stay there again.

    Hotel was nice. In the perfect location. However the rooms are really really small. Breakfast options are very limited and they hover over you whilst you eat which really put me off. Other than that it’s very clean and they provide a good service very helpful.

    Great location. Arrived early hours of the morning and put in room 101. Bathroom has an odd odour. On awakening at 5 due to noise from the kitchen next door followed by noise from above which is the dining room we requested a move to another room. This was agreed for €20 per night. I was happy with this. Staff at breakfast were lovely. They made an omelette for me. I thought choice was simple but good. No full English here. Showers were excellent and clean towels every day. By far the best thing was location but you will hear the calls to prayer.
