  It’s my 4th time in Istanbul, and this time is the 1st one that I’have 0 claims about the hotel. Perfectly quite and calm. The personal was cool, friendly and professionals. The terrasse have an extraordinary’s view. I love it!

  Comfortable, quiet and clean hotel set in the perfect location

  The hotel was set in the perfect location. Just a few minutes walk away from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and in an area packed with a huge variety of eating places. Despite this it was very quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, the shower was spacious and efficient and we were fortunate to have a wonderful view from our window of the Sea of Marmara. It's worth paying for breakfast to see the view from the rooftop terrace (we did this one day only). The staff were all very helpful - we had forgotten our two pin plug adapter and were lent one for our three day stay and they also helped with any questions we had.Highly recommend the airport transfer taxi service which they organised and which worked very smoothly for both our pickup and return (and was a set price so you knew what you would be paying for) and the hotel looked after our cases on our last day which meant we had more time to look around unencumbered before finally leaving.Our first time in Istanbul and we certainly hope to return.

  Fantastic value for money in the heart of the city

  Honestly, the loveliest and friendliest reception team ever! So helpful and welcoming and really made it.For the cost, you are not going to get a better located hotel in a really central and safe zone. The rooms are small and basic, but it doesn't matter as you should be out exploring Istanbul in any case. Very clean, amazing hot showers, fantastic terrace to watch jaw-dropping sunsets. My luggage was stored for free whilst I went away for a week. Again, this review is taking in to account the cost! It is not the Four Seasons but you're not paying Four Seasons rates, so just keep that on mind. 100% recommended and I'll be back!

  Horrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!Update: The owner’s rude and unprofessional response to my review only exemplifies the dismissive and arrogant attitude I experienced during my stay. His words speak volumes about the lack of care and respect for customers—his reply on Google speaks for itself.I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in Turkey. The room was in an appalling condition—mouldy, dirty, and so cramped that I couldn’t even open the wardrobe, leaving me with no space to store clothes. There was no kettle, and when I requested one, it had to be placed on the bedside table because there was no other space or even a proper table in the room.The bedding, pillows, and bed were filthy, old, and smelled awful, making it impossible to sleep. I was restless the entire time due to the terrible state of the room. There’s no way a person could sleep comfortably in such conditions.On top of that, the hotel manager was incredibly unprofessional and rude. He refused to acknowledge the issues and was unwilling to offer any solution. We had booked a sea view room but were given a room that looked abandoned and had no view at all. His dismissive attitude and refusal to help made the entire experience even more frustrating.Adding insult to injury, the hotel charged me for a cancelled room even though it was a free cancellation booking. When I booked another room, they refused to refund the first charge. This hotel is essentially running a scam, keeping my money unfairly and refusing to take responsibility.The manager, whose rude and dismissive behaviour is now publicly available to see in his response, also took advantage of my elderly parents by giving them a room that seemed abandoned and unfit for guests. His unhelpful attitude made the entire experience unbearable.In contrast, I highly recommend Hagia Sophia Hotel—much cleaner and with excellent customer service. I’ve been to Turkey multiple times, but this was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Avoid this place if you want a decent, restful stay. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star!

  I highly recommend it to everyone. We stayed here with my family for 7 nights. The staff is very good, the employee in the kitchen is great. The food is very delicious. Very close to everywhere. When I come again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Special thanks to Leviza Hanum❤️
