    Nice stay in the Sultanahmet area.

    We stayed three nights at Sultanahmet Suites and had a good experience overall. The location is in the main Sultanahmet area, about a 10–15-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, and roughly 20 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. The neighborhood is charming and gives a nice glimpse of old Istanbul with traditional-style buildings and streets.This is more of an older apartment-style property than a typical hotel, but our room was spacious and had the basic amenities we needed. The biggest highlight of our stay was the service; Hüseyin (the general manager) was extremely cooperative and genuinely tried his best to make our stay comfortable. They can also help arrange tours and activities such as a Bursa Day trip, a Bosphorus dinner cruise, Istanbul city tours, and more.One suggestion for improvement: it would really help if guests were clearly informed in advance that the suites are about a 5-minute walk from the office/reception, as this can be inconvenient when carrying luggage.Overall, if you’re a traveler who values location, space, and helpful service, Sultanahmet Suites is a good choice.

    Extremely Disappointing Stay – Misleading Listing and Poor ServiceWe booked a 3-night stay at Sultanahmet Suites in Istanbul, expecting a 4-star experience, but the reality was far from acceptable. The hotel has grossly misrepresented itself online, especially on Google, using outdated and misleading images that show a modern building and attractive terrace views. In truth, the property is old, poorly maintained, and not suitable for a comfortable stay, particularly for families.From the very first night, basic amenities failed. The water heater didn’t work, and the AC was blowing hot air. We had to call the manager, Huseyin Emiroglu, at midnight, which was frustrating but necessary. Shockingly, the same issues repeated every single day, leaving us unable to sleep properly or even take a proper shower during our entire stay.To make things worse, the manager was rude and dismissive, blaming us for calling too often instead of addressing the root problems. The staff were unprofessional and visibly irritated whenever we sought help, making our experience stressful and unpleasant.Additionally, the rooms were dirty, smelly, and poorly cleaned, which only added to the discomfort. Even worse, the main door lock was broken, compromising the safety of our family throughout the stay.Sadly, this horrible booking was arranged by Travel Tycoon agency (Booking Ref: 82083) as part of our Turkey trip, which added to the disappointment. Given the misleading information, lack of basic hospitality, and serious cleanliness and safety concerns, we cannot recommend Sultanahmet Suites to any traveler.

    What a great hotel and absolutely fantastic service. Fatih, Huseyn and Serhat were all great. Treat me and my family exceptionally well. Can’t complain one bit. The rooms were 5star and the service was 5 star too. Kids loves it here and didn’t want to go home. Will definitely be coming back here to this hotel again. Sultanahmet suites thanks so much for the great memories

    I’ve travelled to Istanbul a number of times and I love staying in the old city area. The room at Sultanahmet suites had been ideal and a good price. The Manager Fatih has excellent English and local knowledge. The unit is walking distance to food, tour outlets, taxis, hamams, ATMs, supermarkets, trams to Topkapi, Bosphorus, Taksim and Galata. Good Wifi in room and breakfast available. The office is close by if you need help.It’s nearest little Sofya mosque, walking distance to the hippodrome, Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. In the street behind there was a fresh food market during this week (might be regular).The unit has a fridge, microwave and stove top with basic kitchen equipment to self cater and store food. TV and aircon and secure doors. I’ve had Turkish breakfast each day. Room service respects water economy practices for towels etc but there’s no trouble getting the room freshened up when I needed. Staff friendly and respectful and helpful with ideas.I had transport hiccups getting to Istanbul from Ankara and it was too late to use public transport too get to the hotel. I sent a message enroute and Fatih was excellent in helping me - with quick communication, he sorted pickup for me even though my arrival location changed a few times and traffic was bad. He was careful to double check the cost was ok. He kept updated on my location to ensure things went smoothly - I’d been travelling 2 days ! The shuttle was ready for me at the bus terminal and he waited up late at the office until I arrived safely. This was appreciated as a woman travelling alone, arriving late. Thank you Fatih ! Since then I’ve had to arrange two extensions of time - again sorted out smoothly and I was able to stay in the same room.I’m grateful for Fatih’s personal help with my challenges and I’ll happily stay here again.

    Nice apartment on walking distance to big bazar

    We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days Total The owner deniz and his worker mehmet are The most friendly people i have ever met in turkey. They helped us with a taxi to the airport (wich was way cheaper than when we took the taxi to the appartment) and we talked about our travel stories with them. The apartment is only a 15-20 minute walk to the big bazarThe room itself was very clean and has a lot of space for the money. We booked with booking.com and only payed 97 euro for 2 nights and 3 daysThe apartment has a big queen sized bed and a couch witch can be a bed as well. It has a kitchen with 4 stoves , a sink, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom has a nice big shower, sink and toiletI would recommend this place because of the price and friendly owner
