    It's a very bad hotel, we were not satisfied at all, hair came out of the breakfast, the employees walk around a lot, there is no discipline in the breakfast area, I will not choose this place again, it is not a sterile environment, the door is open, the kitchen is open, the sound of music, the sound of laughter, they are eating, it is very bad…

    This is very friendly hotel to stay in Istanbul for family. Rooms are average as I think most of the hotels are of these types in Sultanahmet Area. This is definitely not a luxury hotel- so we didn’t expect that. The location is perfect. From the rooftop the view is amazing. We started in triple room with sea view and hot tub. For my 14 yr old son they provided an extra for which they didn’t charge. Breakfast is moderate. No Live station for eggs- that can be included.The manager Can was amazing and so was the other stuffs. They were very helpful. They suggested us very important tours with very reasonable price.Location is perfect. Almost All of the attractions are at walking distance. Me and my kids and my wife loved this hotel.

    Sumengen Hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance from the main attractions and from downtown Istanbul. Close to shopping area. Restaurants are plenty in the area. The rooms were clean and of a good size. Can and the owner were very friendly and accomodating. The other staff were very helpful as well. There was a large buffet style breakfast every day with plenty of good food to eat. The roof top had a great view. We would definitely stay here again.Marjolijn and Ernesto Lopez

    The staff weee very helpful and the hotel was very clean. Comfortable beds and our room was quite good The location was excellent of the hotel just 5 mins from Blue mosque. Restaurants were plenty nearby. Would recommend this as we were 2 women so felt very safe to be there even late at night

    Hugely enjoyable experience. Walkable from Blue Mosque and Ayasofya, but in its own little neighbourhood. A straightforward hotel, great views and best of all friendly and helpful staff. It was difficult to get going in the mornings as there is a buffet breakfast overlooking the Bosphorus. Thank you for our stay.
