    The hotel is nicely situated. It’s just a short walk to Sultan Ahmet and Hagia Sophia, as well as the tram to easily commute around Istanbul. The room is nice and spacious. Designs are on the eccentric side but also tasteful and don’t take away from the character. Everything was clean on arrival. The breakfast has a good variety of items and helps provide a good start to the day. Unfortunately my stay is short but if/when I visit again I will definitely consider staying here again. Some specifics: Front Desk - friendly staff Restaurant - Sezgin did a fantastic job. Everything was set up nicely just before breakfast time, and he continuously check in on guests in at reasonable time frames. Guest relations - Warisha is kind, personable, and a wonderful communicator. I also noted that even when speaking with me she was looking out for all the guests in the area, and was quick to address their questions/concerns. It is just a short walk from iconic attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and exploring the old city the tram stop is at its doorstep with links to all other places.The atmosphere and environment is absolutely family oriented and the staff are amazing and make you feel welcome.I am so amazed at the service I received during my stay that I feel they should be recognised for the excellence and rewarded for the extra mile they do for you.From the check in in staff to the Customer Relations lady Warishah who was an absolute gem and had the best Knowledge both about the service of the hotel and about the places to visit. Do make sure you look out for her at the customer relations desk. Thank you too the Breakfast staff BabJaan and Nehmatullah for the attentive hospitality. They were always going out of their way to provide a great start to the morning.Dawood the room cleaning guy was so polite and always smiling always pleased to see him he always made sure our room was clean and filled with daily amenities.The value for this hotel is based on the outcome yes it’s competitive but you pay for what service you want, Surah Hagia Sophia does provide its value for money.As for us we had the family suite with an extra connecting room as there were 6 of us therefore it was at the higher end of the price and we did expect premium on the flip side these are only available on the basement level which may deter you opinion.The pool is lovely and has plenty of sun beds, but the weather was mediocre and not hot so the pool was cold for us, however on a hot day or during the summer I’m sure it would be nice a take a dip in there.The spa facilities are exceptional we were able to use the sauna and steam room daily as part of our stay.We did book a couples Massages they were absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. It’s a shame I forgotten the names of the hostesses. But they were all attentive and provided an exceptional service and are really good at what they do. We definitely recommend the spa at harmony spa.Overall, you need to decide what you expect from a holiday for us this ticked all the boxes.     Very unhappy with staff service and after they downgraded my room from most expensive room there. I accepted their offer for full first night compensation,after my departure they change the offer for difference between rooms prices.
