  Horribly Dirty Hotel

  This hotel is horribly dirty. The rooms smell really bad of cigarette smoke with broken items throughout the rooms The hotel manager also isn’t the most pleasant person to deal with. Also, there is allot of noise coming from the other rooms that you really don’t want to hear. I’d strongly advise to not stay at this hotel.

  Found this hotel through our credit card booking website. We were misinformed as it was rated 5 stars, it was more like -5 stars. Learned my lesson and will always double check everything on TripAdvisor. We were supposed to stay here for 5 nights but left after the first night, early in the morning. The towels provided had stains, the sheets felt like they were 40 years old and also had stains (we had to buy new sheets of our own to use), AC didn’t work well plus we found a huge disgusting bug crawling around on the floor as we were preparing to leave. Just tried getting a refund from my credit card company, and the owner told them that we never told him we were leaving or about the bug, however he lied because when he saw us leaving with our luggage he asked “why you leave early” we simply said we weren’t happy and proceeded to show him the picture of the bug in which he responded “this has never happened before, I will tell housekeeper.” Save your money and stay elsewhere

  Very reasonable price with clean rooms, just alittle bit noisy at night, but that was ok, the staff were so friendly and helpul as well. The place is near everywhere. Will back to it for sure this year.

  when i did a search on this hotel,i was impressed by the rooms design, sport chic style,the staff are very kind and gentle,the emplacement was really good also, and all that went well for me,i highly recommand it for solo travelers

  PROSTITUTES, NOISE, BAD UTILITIES, AND MORE...

  They rent at least 1 room out, by the hour, to local prostitutes.The electricity went off, every other day.On several occasions, the central heating went off.The WiFi was slow...when it worked at all.There was no hot water for the last 4 days I was there!There is no soundproofing. It's really noisy!I came back to my room one day, to find the cleaner had put two pillows on top of my laptop!Despite what some people seem to think, this is NOT a good location. There's nothing in this area. All the main sights (3 mosques, the Spice Market, the Grand Bazaar, water-side things and boat trips) are in Sultanahmet. The bars in the area of this "hotel" are as dreadful as bars can get. Turkey doesn't have a "bar culture".I stayed there for several weeks around Christmas/New Years. It was constantly barely above zero degrees, and rained almost everyday. I was there on business.BTW, The cafe, is closed. It was busted for selling booze, and allowing smoking. It was run by a seperate company.
