Location

Located in Taksim Square, the city hotel couldn't be more central. Istiklal Street, with a tramline running along it, is less than 100 m from the establishment and is home to countless shops, entertainment venues and restaurants. The major tourist attractions at Sultanahmet are 3.7 km away and easily reached by public transport from the square.

Facility

60 non-smoking rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Disappointing Hotel and Unprofessional Staff

    I stayed at Taxim Hill Hotel recently and unfortunately my experience was far from what was shown online. The hotel photos on the internet looked much better than the reality. The room was quite small, cleanliness was below expectations, and overall the hotel did not feel well maintained.What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the reception staff. The behavior was not welcoming or professional, and it made the whole stay uncomfortable from the beginning.The location is good, but honestly that was the only positive point for me. Considering the price and the way this hotel is presented online, I expected a much better experience. I would not choose this hotel again and I would not recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay in Istanbul.

    Avoid here BIG time , if we read reviews would never have come here. Moved rooms 3 times , first room bathroom vent blowing all night plus view on chimney and back yard noise continously. Other rooms not much better and way overpriced. Dirty carpets , curtain nets touching floor and dirty , bed headboard is sooooo dated needs pulling down. This place has not been decorated since it opened. The two lifts are so small only two people at a time you can't swing a mouse in there. No bar but that was advertised plus restaurant only breakfast NO hot meals .same breakfast every morning. Staff up there rude no smiles or good morning unless you were Turkish i noticed . Spend your money 💰 at a better hotel this is awful.Only thing it has is location youve everything on the doorstep. It needs a big revamp be warned ⚠️

    Excellent, large Breakfast room with stunning view of Bosphorus and Taksim Square. Clean very nicely furnished roomd. Staff was helpfull and communication was fine. Great very effective location for Metro and Funicular to tram at Kabatas station. Famous Istiklal street is just a few meters away. Will return next May.

    Worst place to stay! Would not recommend at all. The only good thing about this hotel is the location but that is about it. The staff are not friendly or welcoming especially the front desk. They have no idea what customer service is or how to deal or handle a situation. During our stay, the bathroom glass shattered. Nobody bothered to tell us whether they would change our room or not. We had to chase it up. They then put us in another room. They told us that we had to pay for the shattered glass even though it was no fault of our own. They did not provide any investigation of how the glass shattered. Simply a bill for us to pay. The room they moved us to also had a broken mirror. Having a toddler, my concern was his safety. The breakfast was average - same food everyday. Again no one to greet you or welcome you. Nothing!

    Lovely hotel, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind, including the lovely lady that cleaned our room. The breakfast was more like a continental breakfast, and it was fine. My friend was not well a few days after arriving and the staff could not be anymore helpful to us, thank you. The location was perfect as the hotel is on Taxim Square. Definitely recommend this hotel.
