This comfortable hotel is centrally located in the Laleli district at the heart of Istanbul's old town. It is just a few minutes walk to a diverse selection of shops, the bazaar and many top sights including the Blue Mosque. Istanbul airport is located around 15 km away and may easily be reached by making use of the public transport services.

Facility

The hotel has 106 non-smoking rooms, including 10 single rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available.     My stay at Darkhill Hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve had recently, and honestly everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff. The check-in process was quick and professional, and the warm attitude of the reception team immediately made me feel comfortable.The rooms were extremely clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, and the hotel atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The interior design is elegant and gives a nice balance between luxury and comfort. Housekeeping service was also excellent, with great attention to detail every day.The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to many important places and transport links, which made getting around very easy during my stay. The breakfast was varied and delicious, offering a wide selection to suit different tastes, and everything was fresh and well presented.What impressed me the most was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. They were always ready to help and made every effort to ensure guests had a pleasant experience. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines cleanliness, comfort, great location, and outstanding service so well.I would like to thank all the team at Darkhill Hotel for this wonderful experience. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and high-quality stay.

    Worst room experience ever

    I got one of the worst rooms (3 person room) , nothing working in the room , no wifi , heater broken(can t turn off cause the control buttons not working),some lights not working(I counted 3) , can t open the windows because of the engines noises (yes like you can t sleep at night because of the noises). I talked to the staff about the broken heater they said I should open the window(with view on the engines and noises) , I spoke about the wifi they didn t do anything , other family members got a 2 person room and everything was working as intended.

    We stayed at this hotel as part of a group of 43. On arrival, we noticed quite a few stairs leading up to the foyer. There was a steep ramp, but thankfully the staff were quick to help us with our cases, which set a positive tone for our visit.The rooms were more than adequate, with some of our group even allocated suites. The rooftop restaurant served very good food, though it was a little disappointing to see a waiter feeding the seagulls walking across the roof tiles. Drinks were also on the expensive side.What really made our stay memorable was the staff. They were absolutely fantastic — nothing was too much trouble. When we experienced an issue with a taxi driver, the hotel team went above and beyond to help resolve the situation, even contacting the police on our behalf.Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, the excellent service and dedication of the staff made this a very enjoyable stay.     Great Location and Value, Minor Issues to Address

    We recently stayed at Darkhill Hotel in Istanbul for 4 days. Overall, our experience was satisfactory and the hotel offers good value for money, especially considering its central location and access to key attractions.However, there are several areas that could use improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas could be better maintained, as we noticed some lapses during our stay. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and became repetitive over the days—we would have appreciated a bit more variety.One of the main drawbacks was the accessibility and availability of the swimming pool and spa area, which is located on the congested second level. The space felt cramped and lacked proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable at times. Furthermore, the lift service was extremely slow, which added unnecessary waiting time, especially during busy hours.In summary, Darkhill Hotel offers a decent stay at a reasonable price, but some improvements in cleanliness, facilities access, and amenities would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience.     The best location and hotel is very cleaned and well maintained, great staff. Its close to the metro and walking distance to Grand Bazaar and I personally walked to Sultan Ahmed for blue mosque and Hagia Sofia.
