    (THE HAZE HOTEL) It's a very good hotel with good service. If I think of visiting Turkey next time, I would reserve the same hotel. I really advise tourists to rent. The most important point is that dealing with (sariboga) the reception employee is so so wonderful, he is cooperative and willing to help. He is so kind.

    Such a great hotel! Clean, comfortable and modern rooms, great location as it’s so close to the galata tower and so many other attractions. Really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. A special shoutout and thanks to the hotel manager, Rafi, who throughout the whole stay was a delight and even posted the luggage that I mistakenly left at the hotel back to us. Would definitely stay again.

    Not our choice - It was where our Intrepid tour began and finished. Our first stay of 2 nights we give a 1 star. Not welcoming at all and communication with reception was difficult. Our stay got worse with room 101. Relentless noise from the street below, as if the window was open, the air-conditioning unit unusable due to a very loud whistle, the shower leaked badly over the small bathroom floor and no bath mat was supplied. This was the worst hotel room experience. Then there was the confusing 12:30am phone call from reception, 10 minutes later a knock at the door, 2 men, 1 wearing a full bike helmet - all for the wrong room - again not even basic English to understand what was being asked. We dreaded returning for a night… but our room on the 4th floor was an improvement. The tattoo parlour had gone from reception area, the room was so much quieter - from outside noise and a quiet air-conditioner and the shower didn’t leak. Still not a great experience - reception would not organise a taxi for us, instead told us to go to the street for one. One positive is the location is very good, although difficult for drop offs and pick ups due to the traffic. The breakfast typically Turkish.

    The hotel is located at very conveniently centre place. Courteous staff, house keeping etc all good. Breakfast is very good but they repeat the same daily. They must change menu frequently. Everything is good. I will prefer this hotel for my trip in Istanbul.

    Small room, street noise & light

    I stayed here a total of 4 nights at the start & conclusion of an Intrepid tour. The room was small and badly designed – eg the table and chair were unusable. I didn’t sleep well because of street noise and light from signage on the front of the hotel shining through the full length window. There were heavy curtains on the window but they weren’t long enough to cover the whole length so the light and noise were unrelenting. The location was good with an eat street nearby, and breakfast was excellent, but I wouldn’t stay here again. rafi abenhabip, Genel Müdür at The Haze Karakoy, responded to this review Dear Guest,First of all, thank you very much for staying in our hotel.
