  Nice family rulling the hotel

  It was my first experience with this hotel..i discovered that they are a family a mother a father and thier sons.Very helpful people..u feel u r in a safe an nice place and that you are with your family.The place is too small but cosy and has stairs no elevator so it is nice for friends and youth people not grownups who cant go with stairs..its location is amazing in the heart of ortakoy and with no high streets that you have to climb..its right beside crispy cream ;)The room was nice for me and my sister and the breakfast is not fancy but nice and h have what u want..Spdcial thanks to the father and son who helped us alot at 4 am with our taxi and luggage and sorry for the late review..definitly will go back again insha Allah

  Bad Customer Relationship

  I had a nice stay at this hotel but i was bothered on the phone by someone after my stay because of an honest review i put on a booking website. She asked me to increase the rating and she was clearly angry after i was forced to explaine why their hotel doesn't deserve more rating than what i gave. It was not a nice experience. I will better stay off next time.

  The location is excellent being in the heart of throbbing suburb of Ortakoy that gives you a less tourist more real flavor of Istanbul ... steps away from the Ortakoy mosque and the surrounding area filled with reasonably priced restaurants , bars , street foods and a small bazaar The hotel itself is a 1920s Greek style house renovated nicely and has only 5 rooms served by more than 3 very pleasant and helpful staff. Najati was more than hospitable with his good advise on places to see and even dietary and herbal advice:)The breakfast in the morning was very good with fresh semet and Turkish cold cuts from the nearby bakeries and gourmet shops daily.The only issue we had was the tight space in the rooms and climbing up and down the stairs. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and excellent value for money.

  Good day dears trip advisor memberthis hotel is B&B located in ORTOKOY one of the best areas in Istanbul as you can find the best restaurant and bars and a lots of shops allow you to buy any thing you need, the staff was greet and nice and helpful, one thing is not Ok is the room soundproof in the room above the entrance

  Short stay layover from Cappadocia

  We arrived at about 11am and Emre kindly stored our luggage and gave us a map, refreshments and directions of how to get around. When we arrived back at about 9pm our luggage had been taken to our room and we slept well. The hotel is next door to Ortakoy bars / cafe / restaurants and samll shops. It has a distinct neighbourhood feel and is away from the tourist traps of Sultanahmet. Picturesque area with easy walks back to Taksim / Galata Bridge etc. For those into cars, the Lamborghini / Ferrari / Rolls Royce showrooms are within 10mins walk turn left out of the Hotel and follow the road next to the sea. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the staff made us nice lavender tea when we came back at night. Emre helped us with a taxi and the Havatas shuttle back to Sahiba Gocken Airport when the Istanbul shuttle company failed to show up. He called them and I spoke to a man who did not really care about letting us down. My advice is 10 Euro per person from SAW is good value but the Havatas Shuttle at 13YTL is much better value. It drops you in Taksim square. Just get a cab at 10-15YTL to / from your hotel - it still works out cheaper !. Havatas is every 30mins and also goes to Attaturk airport. In summary the hotel is clean, good location, nicely decorated rooms and the staff are genuinely helpful. They are new to the hotel business and it is nice to give the small guy your business.
