  I stayed for three nights! The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to famous tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and the view from my room on the fourth floor was wonderful. The numerous Turkish lamps hanging throughout the hotel were beautiful and created a very relaxing atmosphere. I'm grateful to all the staff who were so kind and helpful despite my limited English. I would definitely like to stay here again if I visit Istanbul in the future. I'm so glad my first overseas trip was at this hotel.3泊させていただきました！ブルースクやアヤソフィアといった著名な観光名所がすぐ側という好立地で、泊まった4階からの景色がとても良かったです。ホテル内の至る所に吊るされたトルコランプの数々は綺麗で癒されました。私の拙い英語に対しても丁寧に対応してくださった全てのスタッフの皆様に感謝しています。再度イスタンブールを訪れた際にもまた泊まりたいと感じました。私の初めての海外旅行がこのホテルで良かったです。

  This was the perfect hotel for staying in Sultanahmet. Extremely close to all of the major sites and beautiful rooms and service provided by the staff. Thank you so much Vefa for being so welcoming and accommodating to us on our first trip to Turkiye. Rooms are absolutely beautiful - perfect boutique hotel for an authentic Turkish experience.   THIS WAS MY FIFTH STAY AT THE KYBELE HOTEL. SITUATED IN THE HEART OF SULTANHAMET, IT IS A SMALL, UNIQUE HOTEL, WITH MARVELOUS FURNISINGS AND A FRIENDLY STAFF. IT'S RECEPTIONIST, VEFA, IS ONE OF THE MOST CHAMRING AND HELPFUL PEOPLE ON THE PLANET.   Stayed at The Kybele Hotel a few times in early 2000...it was incredible then. New owners have literally run the property into the ground. The service was just rude and abominable at every step. Broken leaking toilet, bed sunked concave with 30+ years mattress, dirty and unclean all areas. FB is atrocious..worst breakfast inclusion ever...bordering on unhygienic. It's such a shame as prior owners Mike and his family made this hotel a national treasure...now it's an embarrassment. Stay well away!

  Remarkable location in central Sultanahmet

  This hotel's location is its main selling point - less than 5 minutes' walk from the Haghia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque, a few minutes more to Topkapi Palace and the Archeological Museum. The road is pedestrianised, so it's pretty quiet despite the central location. Our room on the first floor was good, comfortable enough, but if you're on the second or third floors you'll have to get used to some challenging stair climbs! The general manager, Vefa, was great, very helpful and accommodating. Not all the staff speak English, so if Vefa's not on duty it would help to have a voice translation app like Translate AI.
