  Didn’t stay at the hotel but the bar staff are amazing. The lady for Turkmenistan was brilliant so much fun. The vegetarian pizza was the best we’ve had. We loved her completely! The food was excellent but she will goad you into another gin and tonic! 😂

  We were 4 people and one of them had to go to another hotel, because her reservation was given to another person. We were told this is a usual practice in this hotel.Breakfast was very basic and poorly served. There are much, much better hotels in this area for the same price.The hotel has also a pub, so high music is played until 12.30-01:00 at night, making difficult to have a good night sleep. There is also a lot of noise coming from the kitchen.We spent 5 nights there and the room was never cleaned and the towels were never changed. If you follow my advice, do not book this hotel. They are far from being professional.

  Be Careful. Do not enter the place in front of this hotel. Sultan Terrace. It was the worst experience with the staff of this place. I went up to the terrace with my parents. We were very excited by the view from the terrace. We sat down at the table. The waiter offered us a seafood platter for 30 Turkish liras. This platter was not priced on the menu. that's why they insisted on him. Of course I couldn't resist the temptation and ordered. everything was fine and dandy until they brought the bill for payment. 30 Turkish Liras turned into 3000 . It was a shock. A huge scandal started. The waiters insisted that they told me that it cost 3000 and not 30. That such a plate cannot cost so cheap. Although the fish was fried with a lot of oil and dry. The waiter was ready to hit me. I called the police, they called lawyers. I negotiated up to 2000 Turkish liras. I left with a bitter taste. Disappointed and robbed. They are thieves and crooks.   This place is a great bargain. Compared to two other places I stayed, it is the best deal. They will take great care of you here, especially Hammad! There’s also an amazing cafe/restaurant where you can eat great food and people-watch in a prime location, only 10 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (like Haga Sofia). Don’t mind the stairs. It is well worth it. When you come, be sure to ask for Zeki!

  Good little Hotel / Restaurant

  Great little hotel in heart of all the important historical sites. I found the room clean and comfortable. Typical European size room and a winding staircase. They have a terrace restaurant and bar with an excellent view. Thier street side restaurant has good selection of the local favorites. Management and staff are very attentive. Local artists frequent the street side bar.
