  I had a wonderful experience at Triada Hotel. Staff was cordial, breakfast was great. I will stay here again. Enjoyed the visit to this karakoy location.

  Breakfast is what I want to praise, at this price range they serve a very good quality of food and also freshly made in the kitchen on the top floor. Thank you the kitchen crews for serving the wide variety of food and also fresh. However if you stay in the annex building, you have to walk to the main building to have breakfast. The location is convenient as the tram and ferry are just a walk away. The best thing that make this area better than other is it is not on a hill. So you don't have to walk up and down every time. Shops and convenient stores are a few minutes walk.The room 205 in the annex building I was staying in. The noise from the streets was too loud.

  We booked for 10 days here because of the area. How close it was to Bosporus, Galataport, and other tourist attractions. Room was clean, on the small side but it has everything you need. Hotel staff is where we thought i shined. that and location. Staff: super friendly. Front desk, porters, cleaning crew, breakfast crew, everyone. You literally walk out of your hotel into mad world of restaurants and tourists. you can walk out at 11 pm to get a cup of tea or a drink and get one in 30 seconds its all around. Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque are 20 min walk, shops on Galaport 10 min. 2 min to Ferry Station that will take you anywhere (pro tip - this can also be your Bosporus sunset breakfast or dinner tour if you want it to be, they serve food on the ferry and you can sit on top level if its nice, or below if is cold out :)) We went to Cappadocia for 2 days and hotel is inexpensive enough that we didn't heck out, just left all our stuff there and traveled with carryon. I brought wrong back-up battery for my camera, No store in town sells it, so front desk lady (I am so sorry i forgot her name!!) I asked if she would see if she could possibly order it with her amazon account and charge it to my room or I would pay her back - without hesitation she was willing to help. (ended up not finding what i needed on Turkish Amazon either but fact that she offered!) Every person on staff, every time you walked into the lobby stopped what they were doing and asked how your day was. There is no English speaking TV - we found it to be a plus - no news is a good news on vacation, less time in hotel, more time exploring. Overall - we knew we were booking $75-100/night hotel - we got a great hotel with great staff and we loved it.

  Very nice stay but unpleasant situation at breakfast

  I stayed at the hotel from the 4th to the 8th October. The location is great to visit the city, my room was quite small but very cosy. Receptionists and porters very helpful and friendly. I have just given a 4 instead of 5 because of an unpleasant situation during breakfast, the lady on shift was being rude and shouting at her colleague, at a certain moment she also clapped her hands at him to make him harry up, it was unpleasant even to witness it. Except for this episode my stay was very pleasant.

  Great Hotel, but not happy with breakfast lady

  Stayed at the Triada in Karaköy between the 4th October and 8th October 23. Overall the hotel is not bad at all. Rooms are clean and nice spacious bathrooms. House keeping and reception staff are also extremely friendly and made the stay pleasant. During breakfast on the last day we were there (8th October 2023) we witnessed an incident during breakfast which has prompted me to leave this review on trip advisor. The female member of staff at breakfast was repeatedly shouting at the male member of staff. Not only this was not pleasant to watch during breakfast (she was really loud and kept on banging plates and clapping her hands while shouting at him), also I would not like to support a business which allows staff to bully colleagues. That is not the way to speak to each other at work and especially in front of customers. This in my opinion is the only thing which I did not enjoy about the hotel. The guy kept calm and carried on working without retaliation but from his facial expression I could tell he was not pleased (as nobody would be). I hope he is ok and respect him for keeping calm while she was acting inappropriately.
