  This hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely polite, professional, and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was exceptional with a great variety. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose this hotel again.

  Very Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 5-Star Hotel

  I stayed at Vests Hotel Istanbul from July 13 to 15, and honestly, it was one of my most disappointing hotel experiences ever.Before booking, I read the reviews—most of them were quite positive. But after staying here, I can’t help but wonder if those reviews were fake or paid. If they were real, I’d genuinely like to meet the people who wrote them and ask how they came to those conclusions.Let me break down the experience:✅ Check-InCheck-in was smooth. That’s the only thing I can say went as expected.🚫 Lobby & "All-Day Snacks"The hotel proudly advertises a themed lobby with all-day snacks. In reality, snacks are only available from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the worst part? The food items are leftovers from breakfast. I realized this on the second day after noticing how stale and rock-hard the pastries were on the first day.🚫 Room QualityOur room was in poor condition:The carpet had burn marks,The mirrors were broken,The sheets weren’t clean,And despite requesting a non-smoking room, the entire lobby smelled like a hookah bar.Photos were taken, and I’ll be uploading them.The minibar listed in the room amenities? It was just an empty fridge. When I asked about it, the staff had no explanation.Also, the shower gel bottle was empty, and even after asking for housekeeping, it was never refilled. We had to use hand soap as a substitute for two days.🚫 Spa ServicesThe spa was another disappointment. The staff didn’t speak or understand English at all—you have to rely on Google Translate for everything. More importantly, the spa attendant refused access to the sauna, hamam, and jacuzzi unless we booked an expensive massage. These amenities were clearly listed as included in our booking, but that didn’t matter.It felt like the spa was being run for personal use or private business, not for hotel guests.🚫 LocationThe hotel is 27 km from Istanbul's historical center. It took us 1.5 hours each way. If you're planning to explore the city, this location will be a serious inconvenience.❗ Final VerdictI booked this hotel thinking its services would make up for the distance from the city—but ironically, the services turned out to be its biggest weakness. This hotel is nowhere near 5-star quality, and I strongly recommend you avoid it if possible.

  One of the best hotels in Istanbul, very great and friendly staff, great food plus snacks and drinks, everything is amazing. It is needed to say that this hotel provides you with anything you wish for and good room, great breakfast and lovely staff while you are given the choice of a huge snack bar and buffet free of charge throughout the dayLovely place

  I was a frequent client for last two years.Unfortunately, my cash money was stolen from my bag. And Management was unhelpful to track down the responsible employee or to compensate via content insurance policy that they should have.
