    Istanbul at Taksim Square

    We stayed twice at this property. The first time at the Annexe, about a 2 minute walk from the mail hotel, same lane. It was a 100 year old heritage building with period furniture but we were given a room in the lower basement. We were also served breakfast. The second time we stayed at the main hotel. This was amazing. The rooms, the bathroom and the entire decor of the hotel, a kind of Art Deco. This time there was no breakfast but that did not matter as they serve the same menu everyday. The locality and the people who stay here give you the feel of being in Istanbul. Very helpful. Very polite. The cats and dogs add to the ethos.As do local road side vendor carts serving hot Pilav with grams and chicken. Delicious. The street is lined with eateries. The staff at reception are very helpful, they will go an extra mile for you. If you really want to "feel" Istanbul, stay here. You are a stone's throw from Taksim Square and hence all kinds of public transport and Istikal Cadessi.

    A wonderful place to stay near Taksim! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help, and the prices are very reasonable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The location is safe, quiet, and perfect for exploring the area.

    I had a lovely experience staying here. The airport transfer Provided was 5 star. Mr murat and his staff at reception are very hands on hosts. more than willing to go above and beyond in assuring me and his others guest were happy and comfortable

    I’ve been to Istanbul before and this was the best stay I’ve ever had. The location is central to everything and I could get around pretty easily. Perhaps the best part was how quiet it is at night, despite being downtown. The facility was very clean and room service was offered every day! For breakfast, I had quite the selection as well. Murad, the manager was so nice and answered every and all questions I asked. When never I’m in Istanbul, I know where I’d be staying.
