    Black mold on front desk ceiling 6x6 area, scalding hot water couldn't shower. Staff had 0 customer service skills, dirty Carpets, broken elevator tiles, all vending was broke or not there.     Clean, quiet place in the hills close to food and lake

    We were ending a two-week trip from Indiana to Niagara Falls to Vermont to New Hampshire to Plymouth Rock, Mass to West Virginia. Tired even though we were close to home. Quiet, well-maintained Inn. Breakfast included everything we wanted. Close to Sutton Lake for a four-hour rental of pontoon. Pizza Hut for late snack. Great stay and expensive after everywhere else we had been.     Make yourself at home!

    My husband and I stopped into this hotel for the night on the way back from our anniversary trip. We just needed a comfortable place to lay our heads for the night and this fit the bill.Upon arrival, it was very homey. Decorated in patriotic decor in a cozy living room setting, we instantly felt comfortable. The night worker was very polite and checked us in efficiently.You can tell that the hotel is in need of some updating, but overall, it worked for us. Our room had a very comfortable bed. A closet with hangers, iron and board. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Bathroom had toiletries. My only rook complaint was there was no plug to take a bath. Shower could be used, but not the bath. We were on a ground floor so I’m not sure why it would be a problem. Easy fix.Free Breakfast was really good with lots of options. Nice, clean dining area. Unique pancake maker was a plus. I like quirky, fun things.Check out was easy. Would have no problem staying here again. Thank you!Check-in time: 3:00 PMCheck-out time: 11:00 AMParking lot is large and free. Free WiFi and air conditioning.     Price Was Fair - BUT - The Inconveniences Were Annoying

    Positives: Breakfast had plenty of choices, something for everyone.Shower was very clean and white.Price was fair. Negatives: Upon checking in, my key cards did not work - had to go to the desk 3 times to reprogram it. Frustrating after driving all day, and I was tired. The TV was out for 2 of my 3 days there.I could not connect to the internet at all.Pillows were well used and flat. The only drink vending machine was out of order, so I had to drive to a convenience store after checking in. The hotel did not have bottles of water. I am a Wyndham Rewards Member and requested in advance a late checkout, it was DENIED... the hotel was NOT busy at all at the time.     Bathroom nice, was not a queen size bed.

    One of the worst hotel experiences my wife and I have had especially for the 90-some dollars a night cost.Thought I had reserved a 2 queen bed room. Turned out I reserved a single queen room. OK, my mistake. But, the room was barely large enough to walk around the bed. And, the bed was a described by hotel staff as a "hotel queen." Her words, not mine. The bed was so small for queen that my feet hung off the end unless I tucked them a little or had my head nearly touching the missing headboard. Yup, no headboard, just the wall. Only thing good was the bathroom was clean. Toilet moved when you sat on it, but, it was clean.Would not stay there again and would not have at all if I had seen the lobby ceiling when we first arrived. Attached picture... water and mold-stained. UGH!
