  This hotel is closed more than one year ago. Stop sending advertisements and marketing messages about here. Also a new hotel is not active at the same building so far. You should remove it from your system and stop selling rooms for a hotel that doesn’t exist.

  Fantastic hotel for groups/business, with a friendly local team

  We organised a business meet up during a conference in Istanbul for (almost) the entire team for a small startup of 15 people, and I was really blown away with how friendly and flexible the hotel team was. Since we were a large group, I’d gone through the RFP platforms for a handful each of IHG, Hilton, and Marriott hotels. The team at the W was one of the most responsive in getting back with an initial quote, and then working with me on adapting to the needs of our group. We stayed here for a week, but the flexibility was in giving us different checkin / check out dates (given that our team was flying in from many different countries). Huge shoutout to Ezgi from the hotel sales team for personally meeting me and being consistently responsive to help us make an amazing stay for our entire team!The hotel itself is furnished to a modern standard and in a hip place in Istanbul. I had some worries based on previous reviews that it might be noisy, but I’m happy to say this wasn’t the case at all and rooms are really well soundproofed. The bar team was extremely friendly and on a fair few days, we ended up closing down the bar. Breakfast was extremely lush, with a wide range of Turkish and Western dishes. I love the design of the shower room makes it look a *bit* like a hammam, which was a great nod to locally-inspired design.My only regret is that the terrace area was unfortunately left unexplored due to private events booked during our stay.

  Fantastic hotel and the GM was so attentive as were all the staff. Best hotel to stay and best area also. Great breakfast and staff very knowledgable and their English was fantastic . Made my business stay a smooth and pleasant one. Apparently I need to write more words . Nothing much more to add !

  Very Posh Hotel in Istanbul

  I had a great stay at this hotel. It is a short ride near many of the tourist attractions. The hotel is located around many restaurants and has a neat aesthetic matching traditional Istanbul buildings. I was greeted at the door by Omar; he was very helpful and ensured I found all the places I was looking for throughout my stay. He even arranged taxis for me. Unfortunately, I was feeling ill when I arrived. The receptionist, Azra, informed me that the pharmacies took turns for night shifts in the area and called around to find the open one for me. When I returned, she made me herbal tea with honey. Every morning, I was greeted by Sinem. Aside from ensuring I was well-fed every day, she was a delight, full of information and experiences in the city and an absolute joy. Deniz, who works at the reception, took time to search places up for me and make fun of Azra’s Marvel movie man crushes. The hotel staff is fantastic and accommodating. They are very down-to-earth and a treat to talk with. They would greet you, strike up an interesting conversation around the hotel, and show genuine interest in making your stay as fulfilling as possible. Sadly, I could not get all the names of people I had the pleasure of interacting with around the hotel. I would always like to leave credit where it's due. Thank you all for everything.

  I would like to extend my sincere thanks to W Istanbul for their 1st class service. Coincidentally the phone in the room was down and we were communicating with Concierge via WhatsApp. Let me tell you that this is perhaps the most personal way to reach out to guests. Kudos to the team for being so prompt with their WhatsApp replies, making reservations for us was a breeze. Special thanks to the very strong Omar for handling 2 Rimowa trunks plus luggages (as there’re steps within the premise) and KOG for the loan of his personal transport card. Room wise, housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean.
