  Surprisingly Good

  Stayed here on two different occasions as part of a tour group. Has some misgivings prior to the initial stay given the range of reviews, but it was a very decent hotel in a great location. The street it is on is fairly quiet, but just one street over from great nightlife. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Would consider staying here again in the future.

  Very convenient price for rooms and breakfast, although the breakfast wasn't me favorite, and you could smell burning oil from most of the fired foods. Everything else was good, the AC, the hot water temperature from the bathroom, towels and services.The staff were very kind, they noticed that I had to get up early the last day I'd stayed there so the managed to make a breakfast 2 hours earlier than the breakfast opening so and for that I was really gratefulthe location was really on point, I think this was the best perk this hotel offered.

  ❌THE WORST HOTEL I’VE EVER STAYED IN ❌The area is ok as it is near to some attractions, but it’s on a weird road. That is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. We came 20 minutes later to check in and we still had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes to get in our room because they messed it up and gave us the wrong room. When they figured it out we got to our room and we had a double and one single bed and the single sheets clearly had NOT been washed or changed and the doubles were put on poorly and would fall off during the night. The fire extinguishers attached on the ceiling would flicker all night. You can also hear all movement from beyond the room in the corridor. Each floor of the stairway had a card board box, ironing board or random cradle holding the door open or tossed in the corner. The lights also would flicker on and off. Reception was unhelpful and passive. Cleaning stuff was constantly dumped and scattered everywhere. The TV also does NOT work whatsoever and under the TV the scrape marks were on the wall. The phone also doesn’t work whatsoever. When the power was on there was a weird buzzing noise which wouldn’t stop. Breakfast was absolutely horror, something so simple like bread was soggy. It was cheap but if I’d known it was like that I would have given it a miss completely. Room service was also flavourless and stale and took about an hour to come. Just so awful. Avoid being completely disappointed. Please give this hotel a miss I was shocked at how many people must of lied in these reviews. It’s awful, there are plenty of hotels in Istanbul that are a lot nicer and in a similar price bracket but don’t waste your money on this horrible hotel. We stayed in a hotel with the same 4.5 star review and it was a million times better. This hotel is a one star at a push. Also we asked them for a taxi at a nearby place and they got us a taxi to the complete wrong destination. Don’t come to this hotel. I was counting the days to go home.

  Broken bathrooms and a move that didn’t consider their guests needs

  Booked a double room at Weingart Hotel from Friday to Sunday - which was a two bedroom - five sleeper with two bathrooms for a family of five incl adults and teen children. On Saturday morning got a call from reception asking us whether we were using the showers, which we were. We were then asked to only use one bathroom. There was a leak from our bathroom in the reception area. We were in room 105/106. We were then asked to move to their sister hotel Weingart Suites, which we agreed to do to avoid only having one working bathroom. They said we could go out for the day as usual and they would securely move our luggage to the new location. On arrival late that evening at Weingart Suites we found our luggage in the main corridor outside of the lift lobby - not safely in our room or even locked in their office. The receptionist didn’t seem certain whose luggage it was (and we could have been strangers and they would have let anyone take the luggage). What was worse is the new room at Weingart Suites only had one bathroom and the sofa bed had not been made up. The Weingart Hotel did not seem to properly inform their sister hotel of anything regarding this move, apart from having them put us in a room. It was very disappointing.

  Harika!!!! Fabulous!!!

  We were greeted by Emir, with tea and delicious cookies. Bottled water was also provided. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast included was fabulous. Anywhere we needed to go the front desk provided assistance. On our last day the two young boys rolled our luggage all the way to galata port where our ship was. If I could give this hotel and staff a 10 I would. We will return!!!Tesekurler Hotel Weingart!
