    Poor maintenance and sloppy service

    Zin D Home is in Çekmeköy, a residential area of Istanbul. There are other Zin D hotels in the area so be careful with the address when using a taxi. There is very limited parking on the surrounding streets. There are various types of suites and our group of friends had different ones. Kitchens included a small dishwasher and fridge. Bathrooms were clean and had adequate toiletries and soft towels. We asked for extra blankets, but the AC unit does offer warm air. Cleaning was hit and miss. No idea how this is scheduled, but ask and it was done. The small lift worked fine, but stairs were frequently blocked by bedding or rubbish bags. Public areas were not that clean. The indoor pool water was warm, but the air temperature was cool. The pool surroundings seemed clean, but there was a lot of flakey paint in this basement area. The gym machines needed maintenance. Reception staff were efficient and booked taxi or Uber lifts efficiently.There is a supermarket next door, a cafe bakery across the road and within a short walk are local restaurants and coffee shops.Staff smoking at the front door means reception smells of stale cigarette smokeThis was a convenient location for us, but next time in Istanbul I will look for somewhere different to stay.

    I am very dissatisfied with the Zin D Homes. Day 1. When I reached the hotel they told us we don't have any booking and we don't have any space. After debating for long period and justifying that I have 3 kids they then gave us a small 1 bedroom flat whilst my booking was for 2 bedroom. It took them over an hour to give us a room after winning the debate they said its not clean we are cleaning it. We were given a room without bedsheets. After complaining they hand delivered them to us around midnight and we had to put them on ourselves Day 2. We were given 2 bedroom as agreed however the heating wasn't working. Made a complaint to the reception and they said you can turn of manual heating but it will only heat one room coz there is no heater in room 2. My daughter slept in that room and she had an Asthma Attack in the morning. We requested them to clean the premises and they said OK but no one came. We also requested them to give iron but they didn't. There were no toilet rolls, towels, bath robe or other basic facilities which were highlighted in the property services. We weren't asking for any thing extra. Day 3. We kept requesting them to send the cleaners and they finally said we only send them once in 3 days I showed them the facility Services in booking. Com and it says its daily maid service which they said is incorrect. Day 4 and so on. No house keeping, still sleeping on same dirty bed sheets, using same dirty towels, no shampoo, soap, hand wash, body wash etc. Pathetic service. No toiletries, no Slippers, 6 days same dirty bedsheets, towel, duvet cover, pillow cover..... No house keeping. Cobwebs, spiders and ants are free to love around the flat

    The hotel is in a quiet area. Entering the hotel you will meet a very friendly staff. The room was surprisingly very big and clean. The was everything you need like kitchen, refrigerator and even washing machine. 2 Televisions and WiFi. We are going again at the end of February.

    Good apartments with all the basics in place.However, poor cleaning and ants on beds which bite. Polite reception, who speak good English. Cold swimming pool but clean. Area is low key and too many hills. Not suitable for pram or wheelchair users. Lift not working properly. Need a cab every where.
