  Cozy Room with Amazing View

  Enjoyed our stay at the Ava Maria. It was an easy (flat) walk to the bus station and from the train station. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, and the high pressure shower was the best of many hotels. The breakfast buffet was simple, with watermelon, pastries, cucumbers, and tomato plus a bit more. We had a balcony facing the castle, so I would count that as an incredible view. We recommend without hesitation.

  Great hotel, just on the edge of Selcuk but a quick walk to the bus station to catch a dolmas to Ephesus, Sirincere or the beach. Train station also only 8 minutes walk away. I could see the castle from my window. Very clean. Powerful shower. Great breakfast. Did not hear any call to prayer in the morning. Very kind owners that were helpful and friendly. Taxi from the airport found the hotel easily. Highly recommend this hotel.

  We stayed in the Hotel Ave Maria for 10 days at the beginning of October 2023. It was our first visit to Ephesus and we were not disappointed.From the very start the warm, friendly and family atmosphere was apparent. All the staff were extremely caring, polite, helpful and they couldn’t do enough for us. They always had smiles on their faces. The hotel was clean, fresh and airy with all the facilities in the bedrooms you could need. They accommodated any requests to arrange transport or trips and were well informed about the details concerning these. The breakfast offered a good variety of pastries, food and drinks to get you started for the day. Food snacks and drinks were also available whenever you wanted them. All the staff and children of the owners (Yacoub, Julietta, Christian and Alicia, Rasik and Kareema) were respectful and cheerful towards all visitors. Nothing was too much trouble.   Excellent good value family run hotel in Selcuk

  We were a group of 12 people on a pilgrimage and stayed at the Ave Maria for 7 nights. This is a family run hotel and they could not be more helpful and friendly. Whenever we needed help with travel arrangements, finding suitable restaurants or just about anything they went out of their way to help. The location is ideal for access to the railway and bus stations, to a good selection of restaurants and to historic Ephesus, the House of Mary and St John's Basilica. The hotel is well maintained and kept very clean. A good breakfast is served. I highly recommend this hotel.
