    We highly recommend Kalehan. It is a unique, friendly, clean hotel with a very good restaurant.

    Kalehan is a wonderful family-owned and run hotel and restaurant. The hotel and restaurant are intimate, not at all like a large, impersonal hotel chain. The place is clean and well-appointed, with a very nice garden for relaxing. The food is excellent, and we were able to try several local and Turkish dishes. There is a well-stocked bar. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn't need to lift a finger during over the several nights we stayed. The location is perfect,. It is in an interesting and walkable neighborhood, and an easy walk into the city centre . There is easy access to the religious sites and Ephesus ruins. We definitely recommend Kalehan.

    It’s very very tired. The rooms have not aged well. However, the location is an easy walk into the centre, there are two supermarkets across the very busy road (in room water is only provided on day 1). My room had a fridge. My friends did not. The pool is a nice respite on a very hot afternoon. The air conditioning works well. The buffet breakfast is delicious with so much on offer it’s hard to choose. It’s a win just for the breakfast. My room had a glimpse of the castle. It’s also next door to a closed petrol station. Not entirely sure when it was last given a proper dust.

    This hotel is an absolute gem. Very comfortable with lots of charm and wonderful staff. The pool area and surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfasts are fabulous and dinner at the restaurant was great too. We stayed for 5 nights. It’s very central to everything you want to see

    What a fun hotel! All the rooms are away from the Main Street, so you hear birds, not traffic! And don’t miss the restaurant! I had the “Local noodle dish” ( includes crumbled cheese and toasted nuts) which was prepared to perfection. I ordered it again in Cappadocia and this one was far superior. The collection of art and old machinery gives a rustic touch. The drive in is right off the route where we entered Selcuk , very easy to locate, and an easy walk to center of town attractions.

    This is an old fashioned family run hotel, we got a nice welcome, there was a nice fire in the reception Good location, close to everything However there was no lift but the staff helped me with my suitcase on the stairs No tea coffee making facilities, no safe.Good toiletries in the bathroom, The bed was comfortable and I slept well.Breakfast- minimal choices of food and no hot food which was disappointing.
