    So many mosquitoes, broken doorknob

    rating13 Jun 2025

Worst experience. If you stay here, you have to walk a long way to check in and eat breakfast in a separate place. At our first night here, the door handle fell off at night. We had to escape through the WINDOW !They did nothing and just told us to wait for the technician to come. It was 10 p.m., we waited in the locked room for the technician. (Eventually they didn't call the technician, and a guy from the hotel fixed it - it broke again few hours later.)The wifi DOES NOT WORK. The towel rack in the bathroom falls off randomly and the shower is rusty. Very embarrassing. There are a lot of bugs inside and outside the room and the yard smells bad because of rotten fruit. If you want to leave a good memory, I would never recommend this place.+++ We caught 7 mosquitoes in a single night. The first photo shows the doorknob that has fallen off, and the second photo shows the neglected yard.

A wonderful family run hotel in the small Turkish town of Selçuk (Efesus)

We were greeted warmly by Erdem and crew at this lovely hotel compound, located in a quiet part of Selcuk. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. A wonderful Turkish breakfast was prepared each morning on the outside patio, attended by a friendly crew. Erdem was particularly helpful in making some sightseeing suggestions, which helped our self guided tour run smoothly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a mellow retreat while in the area.

An amazing and charming boutique hotel located about 5 min walk to one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World (Temple of Artemis). Extra friendly staff (in special Adnam, who was very helpful and attentive throghout our stay), one of the freshest breakfasts that I evr had in a hotel, quiet and clean. Cozy room with toiletries (we stayed on the Hector room)

    Good hotel but not great.

    rating25 Mar 2023

When we arrived, there as a problem with the works the city was doing with the water pipelines and we had to be put in the second Ephesus (Ephesus Garden). That one was probably not as good as what we had booked. They were fair and offered us a free diner as well as a bottle of wine. That was nice but we will never know what the Ephesus Livia would have been like.Rooms were quite basic but the service quite good, especially Adnan.Excellent breakfast and recommendations. One thing to note also: you stay in the old part of the city, which is great but you can hear the neighbors's dog and roster during the night! The windows are not soundproof at all.
