    Good location, lovely Rotemburo

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed ot. I am a major fan of Dormy Inns. Mainly because of the onsens (indoor and outdoor). I am a very bad sleeper, and at Dormy Inns are open all night long. That is wonderful, because visiting the onsen at 3am for example is a real blessing and feels so good. The rooms are quite big, and I always enjoy the free ramen after 21h30 and the good breakfast buffet.

Average business hotel with a hot spring public bath on the top

    rating23 May 2019

I stayed one night for attending a scientific congress paying 29,000 JPY which was exclusively expensive due to the congress. The room was relatively large with a small shower room so you have to go up to the 9th floor if you want to soak in a bath. Indeed it was a real hot spring with a rotenv-buro and very comfortable. The breakfast was average and the space was so small and even before 7am it was almost full. The location is very convenient close to the station and many restaurants and convenience stores are around. Confusion

    rating21 Oct 2018

I book this hotel via booking.com and when I arrived they can’t find my booking and request us to another Dormy inn nearby. They said that we have mixed up the two. We go to another one and can’t find our booking either. Finally we found out it is just because the first one don’t search carefully our booking, and in fact we are correct. So it took us one hour to go to and forth this two hotel. Very bad experience.

    Sendai Stopover

    rating08 Oct 2018

Drove to Sendai to check out the aftermath of the tsunami. Samjhana on Reception could not be more helpful with the parking and spoke really good English explaining the area. The room was small but ok for one night and the bed and pillows were too hard for us but we managed. The wifi is good and we had a nice breakfast with an egg station also. The hotel is close to a long covered in mall with lots of places to eat and v close to Sendai station if coming by rail. I would def stay here again as v convenient as a resting stop on our travels around this great country.

    Reasonably good hotel

    rating04 Sept 2018

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst at a conference in Sendai. Firstly, through our third-party booking service myself and a collague requested a twin but were given a double, however we feel the third party internet site is to blame for this (or something was lost in translation) rather than the hotel. English spoken by the staff is minimal, but enough to get checked in and check out, pay the bill etc. The room is small but smart, nice shower and reasonably sized (by Japan standards). Breakfast was excellent if very varied (local speciality, grilled cow tongue, and fish as well as standard fare), and it's a short walk to the station and the town centre. The onsen is very quiet and pleasant - my first time in one! I'd recommend this hotel to visitors, but bear in mind it's probably not too distinct compared to many other business/functional hotels in Sendai
