  Well what can i say...i came to Kusadasi, Turkey for the first time 13years ago. Recommended by good friends that had stayed there previously over the years.This hotel was recommended by friends who had stayed there previously for many years. The Fortin.. must be something good because i have returned here every single year once twice and three times a year if i can. One week, two weeks, and always 3 weeks in September ! The hotel is run by three brothers Orhan, Akman and Effe and their mother is around to help. Genuine family brings the meaning of family run into business! Small family run hotel in a perfect quiet location close to centre but quiet at night. *Rooms come with double bed/twin x2 single beds with plenty furniture to store belongings, drawers, bedside table and chair. Radio and phone in every room if need wake up call or any requests from room. Bathroom comes with toilet, sink, shower area which is kept clean at all times. Airy and complete with a good size balcony with a table and chair for those chill morning's or evening's.* Rooms cleaned Immaculately daily, very clean in rooms, balcony's and all communal areas aswel as the pool area. The lovely friendly Cleaner works tirelessly and does a amazing job ..she is a credit to you. As I am particular to cleanliness this is one of the cleanest hotel's i have stayed in ever, I can not fault it.*Bedsheets and towels changed and replaced daily and toilet roll.* Very cheap family friendly hotel, also caters for couples, groups of friends, solo travellers too.* Hotel is basic but very clean well organised and great host's, they are professional at what they do. Very friendly and attentive. Any issues they will resolve immediately. Although no entertainment in the hotel you can have great banter with all of them at any time of the day or night as it is 24hour service. If you need to know anything about the area or where to go for something or excursions they are very helpful and can assist. They will do anything to please and have happy customers who return year after year.*Food is tasty upon request, they have their own small menu at the bar area, but can also cater for others. Breakfast comes as a full Turkish. My daughter was 8 when she first came to Fortin and has returned again as a grown up and still loves their cheese toastie's ..best by far! Although I do love their tuna mayo salad on Turkish bread , mother's is the best!! sorry Effe :) If there is a drink that you would like and they don't have it they wont think twice about going out of their way to get it for you. Snacks available from the bar area 24hrs a day aswel as drink's. Good bottled beers aswel as spirits. Soft drinks served in cans and a good variety.*Always a warm welcome upon arrival and always a heartfelt farewell until the next time.* Iron and laundry service is available upon request although I do bring my own washing line for my long stays and do my own washing!Not one bad thing to say about this Hotel at all.Fantastic hotel .. keep up all your hard work and dedication guy's !!See you in June !!   Wonderful Stay at Villa Fortin, Warm Hospitality, Perfect Location!

  We had an asbolutely wonderful stay at Villa Fortin. We originally wanted to stay 3 nights but loved it so much, we stayed 6!The hotel is family-run and managed by three brothers who are welcoming, lovely, and go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. The hospitality, suggestions and warmth made it a amazing eperience.The hotel is located on a quiet street, a very short walk from the busy main roads, and a 10 minute walk to one of the main bazars in Kusadasi. The location is wonderful, and we got to see most of the city just by walking. Additionally, it's a 2 minute drive to the highway which is great for day trips in the area. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedsheets. It was clean and well taken care of. The pool, while we did not use it, looked very inviting. Breakast was fresh, local and home made. The 24 hour bar at the hotel made it very easy to grab a quick drink or snack at any point. We recevied good recomendations for shopping in the area, restaorants and places to explore. We overall had a amazing experience - one of the best we've ever had and we cant wait to return!   It was our very FIRST trip to Turkey, possibly 12+ years ago. At the time we'd booked a package with a company that's no longer on the high street. Went there as a couple. My heart sank when we were given a dark dingy room with the double bed pushed into a corner with no room for the other person to get round it and into it, no storage space and no room to maneuver either. Stained mattresses, mozzies at night, splatter of blood on walls where people had squished mozzies on it. Did complain, was shown another room, which we HAD to accept as no other rooms were available at the time. We complained to the rep the next day, as we had payed extra for a bigger room and with a balcony. We very nearly checked out after a couple of days. Rep intervened, the owners weren't friendly to us afterwards and for the duration of the 2 weeks stay. We were moved again after 5-6 days once another room came available. Paid extra for the AC, but mattress was still stained under the lightly stained bedsheets, slightly bigger room with a balcony, paint still rubbing off on clothes and case. As it we had one week to go, we'd decided to stay put and made the most of the last week exploring the areas and other hotels in the area.I remember the paint on the wall kept coming off on my clothes when accidentally rubbed against it, my black suitcase was against it, I had to keep cleaning off the paint and dusted it down daily. Breakfast was okay, didn't have a good selection of fresh fruit. I remember buying a huge melon and odd fruits time to time and giving it in, asking them to serve it up for breakfast. Can't comment on buying their food around lunch/evening times as burgers and chips, wraps and sandwiches doesn't appeal to us when you're in a foreign country. Especially when there's a HUGE selection of Turkish food at local restaurants nearby.We haven't been back and I haven't looked into it again or read recent reviews. I received an email prompting me to review it, hence this review, If things had changed drastically I would look into staying there again, bonus at the time was that it was so near to the weekly market, literally a couple of mins walk to the mosque nearby and the market was there. You took a picture of a neighboring building next door to the hotel. That building no longer exists. Furthermore, that building has nothing to do with us. I reported this to Tripadvisor. Tripadvisor notified you to edit your review, but you apparently can't remember the very old user password, so you've posted a false review with a new user. You know how to take a picture of this building, so why didn't you take a picture of the filthy room? You're lying. You have no right to stay here for 4 pounds per person over 12 years ago and demand everything. I'm sorry. You also have no right to bring in food and drinks from outside when the hotel has a bar. Respect people's hard work. Don't think you've bought us by paying 4 pounds per person for the room back in the day. Air conditioning is still an optional small fee. Becasue of low room prices and we take air conditioning and cleanliness very seriously. You're trying to smear us because we gave you some warnings. Sorry, you must abide by the hotel and community rules. We are confident. And we're still in business. It's been 41 years now. We've managed to overcome bad people like you. We host vacationers, not grumpy people, and thankfully, we get positive reviews.

  Brilliant family run hotel

  husband stayed here with daughter last year, so booked for me and him, a lovely family hotel, no hustle and bustle and very peaceful, very clean, in all areas, the family are the loveliest people will do anything to help and accommodate you, food is so nice and not expensive either, not a thing to fault at all, breakfast is so nice as well, slept better here then at home, already missing the place and the family.
