Location

The hotel is centrally located in the city centre, a 3-minute walk from Basmane metro station and about 50 m from the nearest shops. Izmir Fair is only 200 m away from the property and it lies around 900 m from Kemeralti Bazaar and 1 km from the Kordon seafront with its choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. Konak Square and its clock tower are also approximately 1 km away while Manisa is 38 km and it is approximately 14 km to Izmir - Adnan Menderes Airport.

Facility

The hotel has 6 suites, 4 single rooms and 39 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     before i stayed here ... i was happy because very good price..with that price little size room restoration need old room little light didnnt disturb me .. now i came here only 1 night .. so i didnt search .. directly i selected this hotel .. after i stayed i check all prices.. before i i stayed a few chain hotels and this hotels 10 20 usd difference.. triple size room. high quality king size bed and inside room new and modern very big size tv. large breakfast salon... big windows.... high quality lightning. . .. after that i think myself why i stayed here with this price.. when lie bed going down 3 cm.. very little light room dark otel lobby little light..little rom people slowly move not energy..breakfast saloon little...breakfast was high quality ..hotel is good .. but with this price can not race with chain hotel.. i want to say if you used to stay chain hotel you cannot be happy here.. before i was happy because half price of chain hotel..for difference 10 15 usd no need here stay according to my opinion..also i am saying this is good hotel . i have written about my selection criteria.. every people can have their selection critteria Oğlakçıoğlu Park Hotel, Müşteri Hizmetleri / Ön Büro at OglakcIoglu Park Hotel, responded to this review thank you very much for your feedback.

    Wonderful stay

    I stayed here for 1 night in February 2026. The hotel is just amazing.Location is perfect - 5 minutes walk to Basmane metro station, 10 min walk to the sea.Staff is great, they're friendly and sweet. The only thing I missed was that they didn't greet guests at breakfast and were not very smiling, except for one person, unfortunately I don't remember his name, he shows guests their room on their arrival. He is VERY friendly, gives all the information about the room amenities, breakfast time, etc.My room was very clean and smelt good. Bed is comfortable, bed linen is perfectly white. The hotel even has pillow menu.Breakfast is also great. There is a great variety of cereal, muesli, dried fruit and nuts, cheese, 2 kinds of honey (liquid and comb honey), several kinds of coffee.I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again for sure.     Quaint with Old School Charm and Hospitality

    I did a fly-by stop in Izmir and booked Oğlakcıoğlu Park Otel after sorting through bunch of reviews on another booking site (we all know which one that is). For some reason there was no option to leave a review, which is well-deserved. I enjoyed my stay so much I stay a second night but there are some caveats. It's heading into the quieter season, so I believe it does make a difference. Hotel staff were well-dressed, specifically reception and porter (for lack of a better description). They parked my hire car and brought my luggage to the room. Booking the second night was easy and I didn't need to change rooms. They even took care of posting my postcards for me (they were stamped and ready to go).My room was kindly upgraded from a singled to a Queen bed room. The room lighting is a little dark (but that is suitable for me). The first night the water was no so hot, but the second night it was perfect. I needed a smaller pillow which they promptly supplied upon request. Body wash and shampoo is provided in dispensers (I really liked the smell of the body wash), plus all the other small packaged items with their hotel branding. (I did notice the standing ash trays in the stairwell, which at the time I stayed were thankfully not used. Please note, smoking is prevalent in Turkey and difficult to escape).The room was small with a wardrobe, fridge and table/desk with a mirror. I did love that it had an entry way bench for shoes and hooks to hang coats/jackets (I have not seen this in anywhere I've stayed recently). It was quite clean and I didn't have an issue with noise during my stay (I was also very tired, so that might factor in). I found the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small (not an issue for me), some parts are a bit tired (e.g. toilet seat and lid were painted but it's peeling off. I'd say it's possible the design is old and hard to replace).My booking included breakfast which I found to be more than enough from cereals to breads, butter, conserves, fresh fruit, eggs, meats, cheese, olives, greens etc. and this incredible honeycomb board of honey (which I have no idea what it is called), but presentation-wise looked great. I'd say the atmosphere at breakfast is a bit reserved (they could probably do with some nice music rather than the television for a less sombre affair, but who is really awake at breakfast time when on vacation).Sadly, I didn't have time to spend in Izmir itself but the location was very accessible. For example, it was easy to get to and from the freeway as I took a day trip to Ephesus.Again as it is heading into the low season, absolute value for money. I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.     Awesome Place to Stay in Izmir!

    Hands down one of the best hotel I stayed at whilst in Türkiye! The facilities, room, and breakfast were definitely worth the price paid. The employees were also very friendly and helpful should you need any assistance or have any requests. Location wise it’s also quite close to all the touristy places, so it’s not too long of a walk or to travel to with uber/public transport.     Beautiful hotel near to everything

    I have been to the hotel a few years ago and now again - it is a really good hotel. The surroundings may seem a bit off, but the hotel itself is perfect - near to everything, rooms spatious, comfortable and clean, employees professional and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in my life.
