Good value for price, if price is super important to you..

UPs: -local family business, staff is nice-nice breakfast for that price-air conditioner(which is a MUST for that area) and hot water works fine-not strict on timetable, I missed breakfast time a couple of times and also my check out time but they were very understanding-not very crowded-that's why you can bargain for super low prices esp if you are going to stay more than one night. I booked for one night with booking.com genius discount and I extended my trip there for a week so I bargained with them and they accepted same discount for whole week. Was super cool.DOWNs: -no non-smoking rooms, just less-smoking rooms. Disgusting smell all over.-sheets and blankets were super dirty. Stains all over. Hair of previous guests. Yuck.-staff sits in front of hotel entrance all day and night. No in and out privacy and guests of customers are not welcome to rooms.SUM: If you are looking for a hotel between "OK" and "survivable" for a dormitory price, this is your place.

The only reason it gets any stars is because staff were nice.

I stayed here thankfully for just one night. A more budget conscious friend selected the hotel and I booked a room too to make coordinating our plans easier. Staff really were very friendly and informative. Aside from that everything else was a mess, literally. The sheets had old stains and were dirty. The sink in my bathroom ran all night no matter how hard I tried to turn the faucets and there was a leak in the drainpipe somewhere so the bathroom floor was all wet.Breakfast tasted fine but a pizza-slice size plain omelet and some bread wasn't really filling. It's a budget hotel, a very, very budget hotel so I know you get what you pay for as far as amenities go but you should at least be able to expect clean sheets.

    basic budget accomadation

Stayed here for 5 nights while exploring the region. A little gloomy and shabby but comfortable. I had a big room with bathroom. Also had a balcony to watch the street below from and the magnificent nightly swirl of crows as they settled in the trees by the market. Very good location next to market and bus station. Nice small town to explore on foot and local buses to explore region. Wonderful big market on Saturdays.

Good location, cheap, but rooms are grimy

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is located close to the train station (which you can catch to/from the airport to Selcuk) and also 200m from the bus depot where the local buses for Ephesus leave from. Across from the bus depot is the Ephesus museum and Isa Bey Mosque, St John's Basilica etc.. The real plus was that we didn't need to book an expensive tour (45-50 euros standard price; the owner of the hotel tried to sell it to us) that drives you to all the locations because everything was walkable, or we could take the local buses (2-3 TL).This way we saved about 50 Euros.Breakfast was included in the room rate. Basic but satisfactory. The hotel bathroom was pretty dismal, but functional. Blankets have no covers. Bed sheets look a little tatty. Good eating spots around with one of the best Kofte houses (Selcuk Koftecisi) just down the road.Stay here only if are used to roughing it a bit!
