    The Svalinn Hotel has large, clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. There is an excellent restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The reception staff is kind, courteous, multi lingual. This hotel has ample vehicle parking and very centrally located around shopping and restaurants

    Unfortunately I was fooled by seeing the stars of this hotel, this hotel is not like any other 4 star hotels around the world, place is old and rundown.Staff are very rude and disrespectful, they won’t even say hello when you walk in unless you tip them, restaurant staff were also very rude.They advertised hotel has a swimming pool but there is no pool, all they have is a small spa which doesn’t work, funny thing is spa and gym are open from midday to 9pm so basically means they don’t want guests to use those facilities, how often guests are in the hotel around midnight!!!!!Majority of all other 4 star hotels offer swimming pool and gym from 5am onwards seven days a week but this hotel won’t even let guests using those facilities on Sundays, what a shame, they told me Sundays are closed due to shortage of staff, what a ridicules excuse.Hotel is located near the airport in a very busy street miles away from the main attractions of Izmir.I highly wouldn’t recommend this hotel, you can stay in way better hotels in Izmir for similar prices or even less.Please stay away and take your business elsewhere.     The worse customer service

    The location is convenient but staff have no customer service and are very blunt and rude.Never a hello or greating and very poor manners.If you cant have a polite workers in a hotel then don't bother with running a hotel.The spa was closed on Sunday which was only advertised on their website.     Lovely place to stay over before going to Izmir airport. Great shopping mall within walking distance. Food was reasonably priced and was good. We had evening meal and that was well presented and very good. Breakfast wasn't great but eatable. Hotel rooms are big and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, taking the stress of a long trip direct to the airport from where we were staying. In the early hours.     We arrived to the hotel , they told us to came later because the room is not readyWe came after two hours and the they told us that our reservation is cancelled without any explanation, we stayed in the lobby for 2 more hour while we tried to find new hotel , they didn’t even offer us glas of water .
