    Budget but satisfactory hotel

    rating01 Mar 2020

This hotel is very well situated within the city Centre. Easy access to transportation, sources of recreation , eatery and tourist sites. Rooms are neat, have all basic necessities needed in a hotel room. Breakfast is good. Customer service isn’t bad just that the hotel have limited staff hence you cannot always have a staff attending to your requests on time.Theres room for improvement .

    Pleasant Stay.

    rating28 Feb 2020

We arrived one day earlier for a start of a tour and this was the Tours meeting point and one night stay.By reading the reviews we were warned that it probably would not have a window. How ever the room was clean and large. The beds ae quite high. The highest i have ever seen!! Though they were comfortable.Yes you have to take your own luggage to your room but there are lifts. You have to insert your key card in when you get into the lift, which we were not told and wondered why the lift wouldn't work. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The Hotel is in the centre so within walking distances of many things that you would want to see.

    Very nice, but uneven amenities

    rating21 Feb 2020

We stayed 4 nights. Our room's air conditioner didnt work on arrival, but we were immediately given another room which was fine. Service at the reception was outstanding (especially Felipe) and in the cafeteria. Location is truly central to museums, restaurants, market. Sidewalks are in terrible condition, overcrowded too. Buses and cars move FAST and it can be dangerous to be near the edge of the curb. Room was spacious but not cheerful, and one panel of the shower was missing.Hotel was clean but dated.

Totally depends on which room you get

    rating18 Feb 2020

All the reviews about this hotel are correct because the rooms are sooo different from each other that you can get a king suite or a rathole for the same price. Crazy but true. We were a group of 15 and we got the rathole whereas many of our friends got a huge presidential room. The worst part was that we also had to climb stairs to get to our small room whereas the others were at the same level with the elevator. And we all paid the same price. Breakfast was all right. Service was below satisfactory as they refused to carry our luggage from the top of our stairs. Beds were very high but comfortable. No chairs or places to put our luggage. The best part was its central location. Not a bad hotel but be sure to get a decent room.

    Not that great

    rating11 Feb 2020

This place gets a 3 because of the following:1. Most of their rooms have no windows so you feel like you’re locked up in a dungeon. The rooms that do have windows, the glass is so thin you hear everything going on in the streets, and you can’t sleep (it’s a busy area at night). I know because the first room we were assigned to had no windows and smelled like a medley of pepperoni sticks and cigarette (and the sink didn’t work). They switched us to another room, and the door handle didn’t even let us in (it was broken and was permanently locked). Given the headache, they upgraded us to a room with windows that smelled okay.2. The walls are thin. I could head eeeeeverything our neighbours were doing and saying.3. Cleanliness is questionable. The cleaning staff doesn’t even carry a vacuum, so if you’re sensitive to dust, prepare for an itchy throat and potential coughing. 4. There’s like two outlet per room and it’s far from the beds (if you’re used to charging your phone next to your bed and use it as an alarm, change your habit). The only thing this place has going for it is location and free breakfast . I’d recommend staying at the holiday inn nearby - you know what you’re going to get with your room, and the location is just as good.
