Find another location. This place is a dump.

    rating24 Apr 2026

This place is a dump. Very disappointed with the facility. It is undergoing renovation but it is dirty and in poor repair. The food was dismal. No workers were present in the dining area. Coffee service was not replenished. The lobby mens restroom was filthy. Disgusting.

    Perfectly good and easy access

    rating27 Jan 2026

We stayed here for one night after two nights in Detroit. It's a perfectly good hotel situated on the westside of town - which is where we wanted to be since we were visiting a few breweries in the Dexter area. We had a single king bed and the room was HUGE. So much space. Perfectly comfortable and heat, water, etc. were all good. The barn door to the bathroom was a little janky (wouldn't slide properly) but no big deal. Plenty of parking. We walked across the street in the morning to the coffee shop since the coffee in the breakfast area was not good. Breakfast itself was also lacking a bit compared to other Hampton's I've been at. Overall, an easy stay, nothing special.

    Disappointed Diamond

    rating13 Dec 2025

I failed to check in electronically and as such was assigned a handicapped accessible room. I asked for a diamond upgrade or a non-handicapped accessible room and was told by the front desk clerk that they were pretty busy. She said they had a suite and quoted a dollar amount. I then asked if we could have water and she pointed to where the water was kept and said help yourself. So much for being welcomed as a diamond member…I have also found lately with Hilton that this almost impossible to select a room without having to pay more money. There are maybe one or two standard rooms and the rest are considered upgrades. I guess it’s time to go back to Marriott.

    Worst Hilton ever stayed in.

    rating31 May 2025

I am a Hilton owner in New York and use my points all over the world. This is the worst Hilton by any name that we have stayed in. Mediocre staff-- at best. Even though I'm at Diamond level, they stuck us in a first floor room. No safes in rooms. No conditioner in shower. No daily maid service. Free breakfast but orange juice was fake and rest was mediocre.

    Self Service Required

    rating03 May 2025

First world issue I know and I really hate to be that guy, but the experience this week has been quite a treat that l had to share. We checked in on a Thursday and by Sunday our room had not been cleaned once (other guests were having the same experience) despite multiple requests and assurances. Mind you it was graduation weekend at the university of Michigan and we were being charged luxury hotel rates.Anyway, I inquired several time about housekeeping and each each shift the desk clerk has the same answer and we would have to speak with Brandon Garmyn who apparently serves as the manager in abstentia since he seems to never be on property to address issues. I was told Sunday evening he was on property but left at 1 pm without calling or assuring us he would deal with the issue; can you imagine such willful dereliction of duty by the person ultimately in charge of a hospitality facility?Clearly he just doesn't care. Don't know his issues but clearly not a role he should be entrusted with by Hilton or the licensee?Anyway be warned and pass on
