  Simply the Best

  Our 3rd stay at the Samira Exclusive.Greeted warmly by Erkan and ziki, and speedily checked in.We'd already booked our room last year so knew where to go.Everything clean fresh and welcoming.After a short while we had a drink at the bar, greeted warmly by Emrullah and he took our names and never forgot.We had dinner that night in the hotel restaurant and the food was superb,and attentive service from the team.Sunbed space is slightly tight but enough room for other sunbeds to be placed around and lots of seating areas.Such a great stay, the cleaning ladies clean the rooms every day with fresh towels too. They do a great job.Breakfast is excellent, great choices, just wish we got a runny(ish) boiled egg but that's just my preferred way.Plenty of tea and coffee ( no decaf tea so take your own).I searched everywhere for decaf tea but seemingly not available in Turkey?. Overall another fantastic stay, and already booked for next September.Special mentions to Emrullah,cheers for the perfect glasses of wine, Dila for your attention and humour,Ben for his great service, looking forward to September 2027.Andy & Joe.

  the most perfect first stay

  what a stunning first stay we had at the Samira Exclusive! we come over for our honeymoon and with the family too which took a turn during the first day as our little 10 month oldnephew had to be taken to hospital in Kas, we could not fault the staff, they helped book the taxi and the taxi driver even stayed with them at the hospital to help translate! all the bar/ restaurant staff were amazing!! always come over to check if we need anything nothing is ever too much! we stayed in one of the self catering apartments and it was great, great size had everything you needed in it! very clean! the only 1 downside was the cleaners walking in the room even though the DND sign was on the door and also them throwing away our steamer box because it was empty. overall though an absolutely fantastic stay!! and we will be back!

  The hotel itself is acceptable, but the room we were given was absolutely unacceptable. It was ( confirmed by the manager ) THE smallest room in the hotel We asked three separate times to have our room changed, and each time our request was unsuccessful.What made the situation even more frustrating was the attitude and lack of assistance from the manager , his English drifts in and out depending on what you ask or tell him. He kept saying , that is what Jet2 have booked you , but this is absolutley wrong , we booked a "superior double room " but the truth is that it was a very standard glorified storage room. Kalkan itself is ok but dont expect it to be "holiday"prices , most things are the same price as England . Anyway , good weather , good food round and about , decent drink prices if you look around , but hotel let it down , look at villas if you're coming here , further out , but more for your money

  Our 4th visit to the Samira and it gets better and better every time. This place is a true gem, near enough to the old town to wander when you want, but far enough to wander back after a lovely meal. The pool area is big enough that you don’t feel cramped and there were always enough sunbeds for everyone. The staff are amazing, the rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and we just love it! Mustafas food in the restaurant was among the best we had in Kalkan. Thank you Erkan and team, this is truly our home from home!

  Fantastic first visit

  After receiving over 20 recommendations in the Visit Kalkan Facebook group—and doing a fair bit of research—we finally decided on Samira Exclusive Hotel & Apartments. Looking back, we are both absolutely thrilled with our choice.?We arrived around 11:00 PM and were checked in seamlessly. We decided to splurge a little on the Balcony Suite, and it was worth every penny. The views stretch across the old town rooftops out to a breathtaking panorama of the sea, all framed by the dramatic surrounding mountains. The room itself was spotless and spacious, featuring a firm yet comfortable bed, a fantastically powerful shower, and generous wardrobe space.?The highlight for us was undoubtedly the massive private terrace. Outfitted with its own sunbeds, parasol, seating area, and a cool-water jacuzzi (blissful for washing off the afternoon heat), it was our personal sanctuary. Thanks to the glass balustrades, we enjoyed uninterrupted sea views all day long and front-row seats to spectacular sunsets every evening.?Location-wise, the hotel sits in the sweet spot—an easy, equal walk to both the vibrant new town and the picturesque old town.?Breakfast was included each morning, served buffet-style with fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, and hot items that rotated daily. It was a great way to start the day, served by a lovely, attentive team. While we mostly ate out for dinner, we did order a pizza to our room one evening, and it turned out to be a really delicious, easy option!?The pool area is on the cozy side, but staff brought a sunbed if needed. Naturally, a few guests head down early to save "their spot," but the overall vibe remains completely relaxed, friendly, and unhurried.?I’m so grateful to everyone who suggested this gem, and even more thankful we booked the Balcony Suite. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again—ultra-highly recommended!
