Fab week in the sun at Aqua Fantasy

    rating31 May 2026

This is our first time visiting Turkey and our first beach all inclusive holiday with our children. We stayed Saturday to Saturday in the may half term and what a week we had. we used Jet 2 with a package and we found it really easy. on arrival at the airport a Jet 2 rep directs you out towards a multi story car park and then left where there were more reps guiding you to the correct coach. The rep on the coach advised the transfer would be 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes depending on traffic. The coach was air conditioned and ended up taking 60 minutes. On arrival at the hotel you are greeted with a really modern spacious reception which is nice and cool. There was some paper work to fill in but this didn't take long and then staff took our luggage to the room. We were on the top floor pretty much bang opposite to the steak house. we could see the patisserie bar and steak house outdoor seating from our room. We had a standard family room, it had a modern feel and was very clean. There are sliding doors which separate the twin bed area from the double bed area so gives you a little sense of separation from the kids. There is a mini fridge with soft drink tins and bottled water inside along with 2 large bottles of water on the counter. These were restocked by housekeeping the following day. We arrived around 15:30 so we got unpacked and then took a quick stroll before heading to the patisserie. There is proper barista style coffee here along with cakes, limited number of sandwiches, biscuits and pastries. by the time we got settled it started to rain and a thunder storm was taking effect but it was still warm and the area is covered so made no matter to us. That night we visited the Oasis restaurant which is the main restaurant. Right at the entrance you have the pizza station and then walk in there is so much choice. Out to the right is the seating outside and there are multiple hot food stations where meat and fish is constantly being cooked. There is too much to mention but each night is a different theme so there is always something to try. Every night you can get pizza, pasta, chips, salad, cheese, cold meat, bread and of course puddings. Try the cherry Baklava if you spot it, very nice. Also on the mexican night the fresh churros were good. Breakfast and lunch also held here, again so much variety to mention and to be honest with how busy it is all the hot food was usually hot and fresh because of the amount of turnover. The second day we made our first trip to the waterpark. Literally walk out the entrance, down the slope and turn right. You cant miss it and its also sign posted. turnstile entrance and if you have a bag the security will take a look. You are permitted to take bottled water in but thats it. For us the main draw of the holiday was the waterpark and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. Absolutely epic, so many slides and the grounds are really nice. Everywhere was so clean including the toilets. Never any shortage of dinghies for the slides it was awesome. The start of the week for us was fairly quiet and we hardly had to queue. Towards the middle of the week it got markedly busier. The most we had to queue for a slide was 15 minutes. Be prepared the taller ones have quite a few stairs and you have to carry the double dinghies up. The most popular slide we noticed was master blaster and super combo, both of which have height and weight requirements. You have to be a minimum combined weight of 120 kg and max 200 kg. be prepared the life guards will ask your weight and at the entrance of super combo there are weighing scales which they ask you to stand on to check. This must be to do with the style of slide as there are jets thrusting you up the inclines. there are fast food options, drinks and ice cream at the waterpark. You can charge these to your room number or pay at the time but we didn't bother. With the heat we spent max 4 hours at a time and took the bottled water from our room mini fridge. Back at the hotel we learned of the outdoor pearl restaurant which is closer to the beach and stage area and serves lunch. For us best restaurant of the hotel. Fresh donna meat carved off the spit and also a bbq area where we had the best Koftas. For us much fresher sitting in this restaurant as it was cooler and the food just had that real holiday Turkish vibe. Rather busy at peak times so prepare to wait for a table. Beach really nice, sand is deep golden colour with what looks like glitter in it. Sea was lovely and recommend for a swim. I would take water shoes next time, the sand was so hot to walk on and in places literally to the point of burning my feet. Fairly large stage area at this end of the resort, we only really caught one show which was the samba dance troop. They were brilliant. There is a dj set every night afterwards from about 22:30 to 00:00 i think. Really cool with the strobe lighting and sound system. The main pool is large, we tended to stick to the beach end as the depth was 1.30m which was ideal for our 10 year old. The main area is 1.40m so just that little too deep for her. The swim up bar in our opinion is a bit of a swizz as you need someone on the other side to get your drink and pass it over. Technically i guess it is a swim up bar as there are stools in the water but you cant order a drink from it. we did often see people jump out the water over the bar then into the physical bar area to get a drink. problem with this is the bar your sat at in the pool then gets covered in pool water. The pool area was super clean all the time, hats off to the staff who work hard to keep this done. Quick mention there is also an indoor heated pool with a slide. Kids loved it but its sooooo hot inside.Inside the hotel there is a parade of shops selling toys, sweets, drinks, crisps, beach toys, shoes, clothes bags, hair salon, photography studio, jewellery. Everything is advertised in euros but you can also pay in Turkish Lira which is what we took.Couple of negatives for us;The steak house a la carte wasn't good at all. Execution of most elements really wasn't up to scratch and we much preferred the buffet restaurants in the end.The air conditioning in the room isn't cool enough. weather most days was 30 - 35 and in the evenings it was cooler outside than in our room. we tried keeping the balcony door open but this didn't help eitherDuring the second half of the week when it got busier it was difficult to get a sun lounger by the pool or beach. You've either got to get there early and be happy to stay all day or chance it and wander round if your coming after lunch. we liked to visit the water park in the AM, go for lunch then laze by the pool / in the afternoon at which point the shaded areas or areas by the pool are all taken. We would definitely return with our family. The waterpark is brilliant, the hotel is lovely and clean, so much variety of food to try and for us perfect for 7 nights

⭐ Our Honest & Helpful Hotel Review ⭐

    rating28 May 2026

⭐ Our Honest & Helpful Hotel Review ⭐(from May 21st 2026) ✨🏖️🍹🛍️🎤🃏🦟⛑️🤩Lovely hotel — genuinely very clean, beautifully kept, and loads of food choices every day 🍽️😋. Some staff were absolutely wonderful and really went out of their way to help us 💛👏.We emailed the hotel receptionist before arrival about a request and they did respond which is rare and they did give us what we asked for, a room in the main building. Rooms a spacious and clean. Air conditioning is quiet in the rooms.🍕🥗🍤 Food and restaurants - mountains of food at every meal with so much choice you’ll never go hungry. Ice cream available for a few hours per day. 🥩🍝 Steakhouse & Italian Restaurants - Absolutely worth booking — excellent service, gorgeous food, and lovely atmosphere 🍷✨.You only get one per stay, but we won an extra one at bingo, so we got to try both. Lucky us! 🍀 Do not forget to TIP them 💷💰🦟 Beach Entertainment - We can’t comment on that, we wasn’t out long enough to watch it, we got bitten to death, even after spraying loads of mosquito spray 🦟😩.If you’re sensitive to bites — be warned! The White Party was great - don’t forget your white clothes 👗🎤 Irish Bar Nights - Loved this bar the best. Bingo was brilliant 😊, the Irish bar 🇮🇪☘️ had great bands, fun karaoke 🎤, and loads of English families having a laugh.Easy to get served, and we played cards 🃏 every night like half the hotel.🚤 Top Tip: Boat Trips - The boat trips are SO worth it — a full day out for less than £100 for 3 of us, including all drinks AND food 🍉🍹⛵.Honestly one of the best-value things we did.🏖️ Beach sports - Good prices, nice men helping my son out in the sea🛏️ Sunbeds & Swimming - Swimming was lovely, especially the indoor pool, comfy beds there. But loads of beds to choose from outside, no queues for towels, and plenty of space to relax ☀️😎 water is a good temperature, easy to get in, indoor pool is headed. Adults only pool - naff really. 🍹 Swim-Up Bar - The swim-up bar looked amazing… but getting served took 30 minutes, and there were only two people there 😬🍸.Patience required. But a luxury add to the hotel. We didn’t try out the other hotels swimming or food but I think you are allowed.💦 Water Slides - Water slides were brilliant fun 🎢🌊 — BUT you can’t take in drinks or food, just water, and buying anything inside is pricey 💰🥤.Just be prepared before you go in.🎮 Games Room (…Not Our Favourite) - The men in the games room were not very nice, and the games were expensive to play 💸.No wonder the place was empty — we didn’t stay long 😅.⛑️ First-Aid Warning - We needed paracetamol because me and my 12‑year‑old were either hit with COVID or a serious head cold 🤧.The ONLY place selling them was the kids’ toy shop, and even they said they shouldn’t be selling them — and wanted £8 cash a pack 😳. We did go to the doctors but they couldn’t help, emergency only 🚨 DO NOT FORGET YOUR FIRST-AID KIT! ⛑️🛍️ Hotel Shopping - Honestly… expensive. And we’re a well-off family, so that says something 💸😅.We hid our water lilo behind the chairs near the indoor pool because it was too big to take into the restaurant — and the shop guy took it to resell 🤬.We got it back, but still… not okay.Be careful with your belongings.Besides that, everything felt safe while swimming.🏙️ Town Shopping - You can haggle prices down by 30–40%, easily.Worth going if you’re feeling well enough. You will come back with a headache - guaranteed! We sit on the sea front where the cruise ships were docking 🛳️ having a drink in the bar, good price and a lovely stop off. 🙌🏼 Would We Stay Again?YES!Even with the hiccups, we’d go back — we just had a rough week health-wise.

    Fun on the water

    rating26 May 2026

We had a really lovely time with the team at Aqua Fantasy Sailing Sports Centre. We hired a Catamaran for 1hr - the team rigged it for us and got it off the beach and onto the water. We hopped on and had the bay to ourselves, a lovely setup with lots of space, and a nice steady cross on wind. The team were in a speedboat so on hand if we needed anything. Once in they helped us stop just off the beach and then dragged the boat back on to the beach. Lifejackets were also supplied - overall a really nice session, would highly recommend, very friendly team :) Ahmet COLAK, Other at Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences with us.We are thrilled to hear that you had a lovely time.It is fantastic to know that our team provided helpful, safe, and friendly service throughout your session.Your high recommendation means a lot to the entire team.We look forward to welcoming you back for more fun on the water.Kind regards,Demircan KESERGuest Relations Supervisor
