    great for the money

    rating28 Jul 2012

Spacious rooms, good food, excellent view, wonderful pool. Not for families, but it could be an excellent solution for couples. Some of the things in the bathroom were old but functioning. We also had a fully equipped kitchen and a nice balcony.

I would rather spend the night in a slum !!!

    rating08 Sept 2011

Where do I start?? We arrived at the hotel at 5am after a long transfer from bodrum to be chucked a key from reception, we weren't even greeted with a smile. The miserable night porter didn't even show us to our room. The following morning I was horrified to have been up for hours with my 1 yr old daughter who had heat stroke, so when I used the reception phone to sort out this emergency we were charged 6 lira!!!!!! They couldn't give a dam if my daughter was seriously ill!!! So as a result we spent most of our days in our room to het baby out of the sun. It wouldn't have been an issue if our room was habitable!! Day one - fridge meltdown. Day two , broken air con. Day 3 ,shower head snaps off. The tv only has one tv channel. It's Turkish. The lights are dodgy. The plug sockets spark when used. Firnature old and tatty. The beds, ha!! It would be softer to sleep on a gravel payment. Awful the sheets were disgusting . Stains on mattress and springs sticking out. Pillows feel like slabs of bulky wood!! We ended up rearranging our room to feel more comfortable . The pool was lovely and the pool staff were lovely too. I can't mock the pool area. Apart from the broken gym equiptment left out on desplay rusting onto pathway. Awful hotel. Don't stay here unless you want worms!!!

OMG! Stayed here family holiday, i,ve always have an opened mind people have different expectations and i did expect a bit better. Where do i start well firstly arrived 7 am to find a member of staff sleeping in lobby, other member half a sleep at desk. Got into room what a dump dirty, fridge broken, no locks on balcony doors 5 floors up wiyh 4year old! . Kitchen area OMG! we had 1 cup with large chip asked for more cups, did eventually get them 2days later all were cracked! 2 forks , 1 plate , everything dirty dont know when this room was last cleaned before we went. Bedding sheets didnt look fresh in the 2 wks had to ask for clean sheets and towels. In room floor was not washed in time at hotel. Gym was opened air broken parts lying on floor very dirty unusable! no football pitch or anything as stated, pool side was the part which was all right, showers at poolside was a dumping ground full of broken loungers papers general rubbish. Hotel in middle of nowhere on hill, i small shop and chemist just round corner then a long time before another shop, you need to get bus into centre of kudsadsi for something to eat, plenty of shops resturants in centre.I m sorry i could go on but dont waste your money .Only good thing was the weather and boat trips .

    DONT STAY in THis HOTEL

    rating15 Aug 2011

I have stayed many hotels but I can easily say this hotel is the worst ever.It is dirty and run down. I did not mind it is run down because It was so cheap. I did not expect it much. However, I have never ever seen such a dirty hotel in my life. it is so bad that one morning I was served with muddy tomotoes. The cutlery and glasses are so dirty I had to wash them everytime I had breakfast. Although the hotel provides meal ,which is not expensive , I could not eat it as it was not hygienic. The staff are very friendly and wanna help you as much as possible. However, the manager of the hotel is not a nice person and see tourists as a cash cow . He does not actually treat it is own staff nice either. I think he is there to milk everyone as much as possible.

    Shut down this hotel ASAP

    rating15 Aug 2011

After a three hour transfer from Bodrum Airport we were very tired and arrived at the Pamay Hotel at 8 am. We were allocated our room no. 308. We were depressed as we entered the dark and dingy two bedroom apartment as it was so dirty, the safe was broken and there were no locks on the balcony doors. The rooms smelled of damp and the kitchen cabinets were falling apart and the fridge was unusable. There was one wardrobe with no hangers. The view from the balcony was of overgrown weeds, most of the lights were not working in the rooms and the hairdryer was not working either. I went straight to reception and asked for the room to be changed as I would rather go back to England than spend one night in that room. We had to wait until lunchtime for the room to be changed. We were moved to room 311 but had to pay £130 extra which also included a safe and air-conditioning. The aircon only worked in one bedroom and the other bedroom had a very loud fan which we had to use every night to keep us cool. We were pleased with this room as it had a pool and sea view. The cleaners only cleaned our room once in two weeks and we had to ask for basics like toilet paper and towels. Although they cleaned the room, this was a five minute job which involved taking out the rubbish only. The floors and surfaces and bathroom and balcony were not cleaned at all. The pool was lovely and you had a choice of sunbeds as the hotel was always only half full. The gym was full of rusty equipment located near the pool. The glass door to the main pool area had been smashed and a shard of glass was hanging down. This was very dangerous and had been reported to reception but nothing was done about it. Kusadasi is a lovely resort with plenty to do and many restaurants to visit. They are all very cheap and a meal will cost you between £5 and £8 each night. Two other English families were allocated room 308 after us. I think it must be a scam to make more money out of the British holidaymakers because nobody could stay in that depressing room. Most holidaymakers seem to be Turkish and they are never allocated the dodgy rooms! The hotel was located on a hill and it took 40 minutes to walk to the main centre. I enjoyed the walk as it was downhill and we had lovely views of the sunset but we always caught a Dolmus up the hill as it would have been impossible to walk up at night. The Dolmus cost around 70 pence each journey. I would recommend Kusadasi but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
