  Mixed feelings about our stay

  I am giving Kuştur Club Holiday Village 3 stars only because of its location, beautiful greenery, peaceful atmosphere, stunning sunsets, and the kindness of some of the staff. Unfortunately, those positives are overshadowed by many issues that are simply unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as a 5-star resort.Let's start with the negatives:* It is unacceptable to have inexperienced night-shift reception staff who clearly do not know how to handle problems or find solutions when guests need assistance.* One of the things Kuştur is supposedly famous for is its traditional Gözleme, yet it is served far away on the beach. Not everyone spends their day at the beach, meaning many guests never get the chance to try it. I personally love Gözleme but never bothered because of how inconvenient the location was.* The basketball court is rarely used. A beach volleyball court near the main pool would be a much better use of the space, considering how popular volleyball is with holidaymakers.* The table tennis equipment is old, damaged, and poorly maintained. The rackets are falling apart and are nowhere near what you would expect from a 5-star property.* Breakfast became repetitive very quickly. Eggs, eggs, eggs, and more eggs in every possible form. I am still dreaming about eggs.* The snack bar is a complete disappointment. Onion rings, a poor imitation of burgers, pizza, fries, and plain spaghetti with tomato sauce. Nothing memorable.* Lunch and dinner are perhaps the biggest disappointments. Turkish cuisine is one of the richest and most diverse in the world, yet the selection was often repetitive and uninspiring. Rice, rice, more rice, roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions, and little variety. There were occasional highlights such as grilled dishes and fish, but overall the food was far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.* The glasses and cutlery were often not cleaned properly.* My wife nearly cut her lip on a chipped drinking glass. This was extremely concerning. On several occasions, wet floors were left unattended for far too long, and staff were very slow to secure the area and prevent accidents.* Tables in the restaurant were cleared very slowly. Guests often had to wait several minutes before a dirty table was cleaned. Staff frequently seemed unaware of guests waiting, even for something as basic as a glass of water.* Ice cream is offered far from the central pool, which feels like a deliberate attempt to limit consumption. Even worse, on several occasions, there simply was not enough ice cream available for guests, something that should never happen in a 5-star resort.I could continue for much longer, but these are just some of the issues we experienced.I have travelled extensively around the world and stayed in many genuine 5-star resorts and hotels. Based on that experience, I would personally rate Kuştur Club Holiday Village around 2.5 stars rather than 5.Finally, the icing on the cake was our departure day. There was only one employee at reception, three families trying to check in, and us trying to check out while rushing to catch our flight. A guest in front of us was involved in a lengthy argument with the receptionist, time was running out, and nobody seemed concerned that departing guests were under pressure. Every minute mattered to us, but there was no urgency, no organisation, and no support.Kuştur has an amazing location and beautiful grounds, but management seriously needs to improve food quality, hygiene standards, staff training, customer service, and operational efficiency if it wants to deserve its 5-star rating.   This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in.. We went there in group of 8 people (6 adults and 2 children) there is something for everyone.. Absolutely love every aspect of it.. The staff amazing, Atmosphere amazing, Rooms amazing, Cleanliness amazing.. the location amazing, the hotel facilities amazing, service amazing, food amazing, drinks amazing, Panorama restaurant amazing.. Fully recommend.. If I could suggest something to the hotel owners.. Please do at least 1 heated pool..   Good hotel but could be much better!

  The hotel itself is absolutely superb! The location is great and the beach is around 6 minutes walk from the hotel. Me and my family stayed from 23 may 2026 to 30 may 2026.There are both negatives and positives about the hotel.The negatives are: the private beach area is not that great as it states, there is not much access to sand (the public beach area is better with access to more sand and water!). The biggest downside to the holiday was the vegetarian options which was very dissapointing for a five star hotel as you would expect more for all inclusive (we had to complain to head chef and he eventually introduced veggie options for one day, instead of chickpea curry there was chickpea curry with meat - not hard to just have just chickpea curry as 90% of main dishes have meat). The hotel also ran out of ice-cream which is very disappointing for the size of hotel and amount of guests. There are no proper showering facilities for guests who are checked out and have late flights, we had to pay 80 euros for extending the time to 6pm as we and our kids needed showers after going to the beach and pool and wanted to fresh up before our late night flight, I think this price for extension was very high.The positives: the staff are very hard working and friendly staff, they all go out of their way to help you even though they were sometimes short staff. The entertainment team are the star of the hotel, the energy and friendliness make the hotel stand out, thank you to all the entertainment team! The hotel rooms, pools, spa and reception are all top class.I recommend this hotel to all apart from vegetarians and vegans!
