Concept and location nice, management is a total let down. Just read the poor reviews and that is exactly what I think.

Thank goodness I read the bad reviews and went accordingly. Stayed for 3 weeks, left a day early as I knew they would not return the balance if I left even earlier. One day extra fee can be theirs. Family run place but you don’t feel welcome. I person does 3-4 jobs. Pilates/yoga/ aqua gym are the same 5 positions done over and over again. Looks like the equipment has been there since it was built. Not one picture or quote from Ataturk.

Spent 12 wonderful days there. Staff fantastic and always willing to help. Facilities superb. Best place to recharge and get back onto a healthy path. Was on the detox plan so meals consist of vegetables and juices in between. Treatments are a must to go with the detox plan. Will definitely be back!!!

    Great healthy escape

    rating11 Jan 2020

I just got back on 2nd Jan 2020 from a delightful stay in Natur-Med. I was looking for a natural hot spring hotel and this place did not disappoint. I loved the outside spring pool best, very hot first thing in the mornings. There was also another hot spring pool in the basement level of hotel, along with a private room hot spring.I used the steam sauna, the infra red sauna, various massages, booked a hammam (turkish bath), your stay includes use of the gym, yoga/pilates and dance class. The hotel is jot in the tourist hub area, it's a bit more remote and in with the locals kind of thing and near mountains. The early morning guided walks were great, good exercise up the mountain, it was dark to start but you watch the sun rise as you go up.This is a healthy food hotel, lots of greens, salads, soups etc. I think some of the cooked food/soups could have been a bit more spiced up flavour-wise though. They have meat one day a week, fish one day a week. I chose to do the detox diet which consisted of several fresh juices n soups per day plus salads. The staff were all well mannered and friendly, some staff spoke English. They offer all sorts of healthy treatments you can opt in for and pay additionally. There is a doctor on site also who checks your health before you embark on the programs. My room was quaint and more of an older style, wood features n furniture, not the modern style furniture. But very clean, fresh towels n robes every day and room cleaned every day if you wanted.I'd say this is more of a healthy retreat and not a kids friendly hotel. So the clientele are adults or older people. All in all a good relaxing and healthy stay. I look forward to returning here for a longer stay next time.

    Better than expected

    rating11 Feb 2019

I just returned from 5 days at Natur-Med. Everything was fantastic. The doctors put my concerns in perspective, with practical suggestions for better health. The suggested therapies their were right on target. hey were in addition to the basic plan, but incredibly reasonable and no hard sell. Do not let the extremely reasonable price suggest there is anything cheesy about the place. The food was good and plentiful, the thermal pools so relaxing and everything extremely well maintained with state of the art therapy rooms and equipment. Of note were the professionalism, care and hospitality of Ayse Hanim at reception, the therapist, Mila and masseur, Caner. If you want a totally relaxing and economical way to get away from it all, this is the place!

    Fully re-energised

    rating23 Dec 2018

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 day stay at Natur Med as a first time visitor and look forward to a return visit next year. The centre benefits from an ideal setting, nestling just below some small mountains, easy to walk up via a wide trail. Views of the surrounding area are outstanding. The combination of extremely fresh air, thermal waters and a peaceful setting combines to make for a stay that will make you feel incredibly reinvigorated if your batteries are low after a busy year (as mine were!). The staff at all levels at the Centre were professional, courteous and very welcoming. Any (chargeable) treatments offered are recommended based on initial consultation with the Centre’s Head Doctor but there is no ‘hard sell’ or pressure to compel you to take every treatment recommended. I had a few massages and a few OZONE treatments which I felt were sufficient for me but there’s a lot on offer and they’re all designed to make you feel better so don’t be shy in choosing a wider range. Prices are very competitive, especially in comparison to similar in Western Europe so staying at Natur Med represents extremely good value for money. I particularly enjoyed the guided early morning walks in the nearby mountains (around 60-90 mins), immediately followed by a hot thermal bath. There are two of these baths and the open air one is better as you get to breathe in the fresh air while relaxing in extremely healthy waters. You can almost feel yourself getting younger by the minute!Food is basic, bland and repetitive but designed to detoxify your system so don’t expect sugary treats! My room was functional, very clean and well tended and cleaned every day by very competent chamber maids (thank you!). Especially as I’m not the tidiest person in the world! The only downside was that December is a very rainy month in this area so if you’re walking daily then you’re going to get soaked at some stage. This didn’t bother me as I’m from UK and used to the rain:) There’s a National Park a few miles down the road which is fantastic to walk through (with amazing views) so if you don’t have a car make friends with a fellow guest that does have one and you’ll get a free ride!In summary: an excellent health oasis for easing the stresses and strains of ‘real life’, great staff and the bonus of having made some great new friends during my short stay. A big thanks to Natur Med for helping me to reconnect with myself and I look forward greatly to my next visit. Mel.
