  On arrival positive experience, clean welcoming and speedy check in. Room was lovely and we had a sea view garden block we were really happy with. Food is freshly cooked and lots of variety but I did get bored of the same things daily. It was quite repetitive. Pool area we never struggled for a sun-bed and it was a nice vibe with good music playing . Mostly the staff were great, some didnt speak english but were happy and smiley. My main issue is the soundproofing of rooms…. It’s non existent! We were close to beach bar with little ones and it was horrendous. Soundproofing would sort this issue out.   Landed back on Sunday 10th May, after a week all-inclusive.The hotel is situated 1 hour from Izmir Airport. On the coast close to Selcuk and very well positioned for visiting Ephesus, House of the Virgin Mary, Kusadasi and it is possible to visit Pammukale but it would be a long day! The main building is surrounded by extensive gardens and there are small blocks of accomodation throughout. There are bars well placed for the pools, never far to walk. Snacks or lunch can be accessed at the Oleo bar if you don't fancy the full Efes restaurant. (Delicious waffles down there too, made fresh on request!) Food in the main restaurant was excellent. Lots of different options available to suit different tastes. I mentioned pools. Main pool with a kiddies area and slide, a pool with water slides for the bigger kids and a quiet pool set next to the private beach. Beach has lots of sun loungers, as do the pools, and everywhere is very clean. Pool towels available free of charge.We preferred the quiet pool as we felt the music at the main one was a little loud for reading. I'm sure the animation team have, and involve guests in, lots of activities but we didn't partake so can't comment. We had booked a room with a sea view, which we got. There was a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Downside to the room was lack of anywhere to put clothes apart from hanging space and two small bedside drawers. The lighting was poor only adequate for being in the room at night, certainly reading was difficult. Entertainment was limited in the evening. It may have been the time of year and the fact that the hotel was quiet. Example: karaoke night, quiz night, a live guitar player, a music duo, film quiz...The staff are friendly and helpful with many young workers. Perhaps, the youngsters could be encouraged to interact with guests a little more. A good balance of staff.Overall, a very good hotel offering very good value for money. A particular point I'd like to make is that the hotel is fully accessible for persons with mobility issues. Ramps to all outdoor areas and lots of lifts in the main building. There were even some beach wheelchairs, with the bigger wheels, to give access down to the sea. Really impressed with that! Well done to Richmond Ephesus!   Just returning from a Fabulous holiday to this Hotel. The food was outstanding. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. The Animation Team were amazing, hilarious and very welcoming. We love Ece, Ameen and Sonic such loving caring kids couldn't do enough for you. Bora the entertainment manager was super organised with great sense of humour and would do Almost anything for you. He resembles Johnny Depp and works exceptionally hard under difficult circumstances. Enjoyed his company immensly even though it was brief.   Absolutely unforgettable stay

  Absolutely unforgettable stay at Richmond Ephesus Resort.Although we experienced a small issue upon arrival due to our travel agency, it was handled incredibly quickly and professionally by the receptionist, who sorted everything out in the blink of an eye without any hesitation. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but his help truly made a difference and set a positive tone for the start of our holiday.From that moment on, everything was just amazing. The resort is beautifully maintained, surrounded by stunning nature and just steps away from the beach. There’s something for everyone – whether you want to relax by the quiet pool, enjoy the lively atmosphere at the main pool, or have fun on the water slides. The hotel also offers a heated indoor pool, gym, spa area, kids’ soft play area, gaming room, and much more. On the beach, you can find activities like horse riding, jet skiing, and much more. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and ready to help, which made the whole experience even more special for me.I would also love to mention some amazing individuals who truly made our stay exceptional. Our wonderful housekeeper Merjan, who did an incredible job every time she cleaned our room. Mustafa from the restaurant, who was always kind and attentive. A big thank you as well to Özge, the marketing manager, for her care and incredible professionalism. And of course, huge appreciation to all the behind th scenes heroes , the cleaners, pot washers, leaders , and everyone who puts in the effort that guests don’t always see. Every single role matters, and together they create that final feeling of comfort, happiness, and a perfect stay.A special shoutout to the chefs. I can be quite a fussy eater, but the food was absolutely incredible , I genuinely couldn’t fault it ( and I brought back home 3 kilos, Thank you for that :) The chefs were so kind and attentive, even coming to check and speak to me personally to make sure everything was okay, which meant a lot.   nice place for relax

  We stayed at this hotel for seven days and overall it was a pleasant and relaxing holiday.the rooms are comfortable enough and cleaned regularly every dayThere was plenty of food and a good variety — everyone can find something tasty.The desserts were great, especially the cheesecakes and fresh fruit.The staff were nice, helpful, and worked efficiently, though not very talkative, lot of young and nice people.Communication in English was basic, but enough to manage.The outdoor pools were quite cold ( between 7-14 october)and the weather wasn’t perfect — around 22°C during the day and two rainy days.Luckily, the indoor pool was warm and perfect for relaxing or swimming.The gym was open, clean, and well equipped — a big plus.The hotel itself was clean but clearly a bit worn out.There are three bars offering drinks, cocktails, and snacks between lunch and dinner.The beach nearby is sandy and sparkly, with plenty of sunbeds and shade.The garden around the hotel is beautiful and green, creating a peaceful atmosphere.It’s a good place for a quiet family holiday if you don’t expect luxury.The only downside is the location — quite far from any town or village.You can reach Kuşadası only by dolmuş (minibus), about 15 minutes away, costing around €2 one way.Overall rating: 7.5/10Good value for money and great for families looking for a calm, relaxing stay.
