  Tired 1980’s style hotel in need of updating.Room 301 had an incredible sea view and super close to centre and all local amenities.Be aware that the car park, whilst relatively close is incredibly steep and you take a chance in not getting stuck if you have a low profile car.

  Just awful! Lobby is quite nice and clean however when you get to the rooms it’s a different story. Extremely outdated. Double bed was 2 camp beds pushed together. Bathroom was a disgrace and shower curtain was dirty. The terrace was dirty and had what looked like hair and blockage around the hole on the floor. ***wifi does not work in any bedrooms, only lobby and that was intermittent. We were there 4 days and bedding was changed once and toilet roll topped up, nothing was cleaned. Breakfast (no word of a lie) was boiled eggs, toast, lettuce and a hotdog sausage- we didn’t eat there once. The pool on the roof looks nothing like the photos advertise, it’s scruffy and dirty. A man on reception every time we asked a question he wanted a tip. We said that we were so thankful we were only there for 4 days as if was any longer I think I would have invested in moving hotels. I would have been devastated if I’d saved all year round to stay there. The hotel was not busy at all which spoke volumes I thought. I feel abit bad writing which a terrible review but I was miserable the time I was there and I think it needs to change. The only positive was it was a great location.

  We are currently staying at surtel hotel. The first couple of days were very lovely here. The hotel location is amazing and the views from the bar are very nice. But the bar and wait staff really let the place down. At the begining it was easy ignore but it is really creating a bad atmosphere here for us. I asked to speak to a manager who was out. I was told a time to return and when I did, the manager has completely ignored me. They refuse to give you ice unless you tip them. We wanted to order some extra drinks because the bar closed at eleven and we told no. We won't let them ruin our stay but I'd only recommend staying here if you can ignore bad manners. It's location will no doubt always make it busy but I'd sleep here only if I returned.

  Hasret really showed me the best of the best of Turkish hospitality. For any question we had, he had an answer and he was just so helpful. We stayed at Surtel Hotel for 23 nights and the best thing is that it's in heart of the city so everything is 5 minutes walk. Food is great, all of the hotel staff are always friendly and ready to help with a smile and there's even a bar by the pool on the rooftop which offers you an amazing view of the city. Cleaning lady does very good job and she is really kind. I don't usually give 5 star rating easy to places as I can be picky sometimes, however, Surtel hotel and Hasret definitively deserve my recommendation. If I come again to Kuşadasi, I will have this hotel in mind for sure! An absolute 10/10 experience!

  Great location, poor hotel services

  The hotel needs massive renovations in every way! Everything is very old and rusty. However, if you are not picky by nature, it is a very good place to sleep and take a shower. The food is good, for 7 nights I didn't really know what I was eating because there was no label for each dish. There were some Turkish and Russian salads, pasta with ketchup and sausages, I didn't like the soups at all, they weren't inviting. There were only two types of hot food, mainly heated or fried semi-prepared foods. Overall, the food was ok as long as you had something in your stomach, but not something substantial. The waiters were very nice people, very respectful, especially Selcuk and Murat. We had a lot to discuss with them, and every time they made us feel very good. I saw that a lot of guests were wasting food, you have to do something about it because there are people who don't have anything to eat, and others are making fun of it. Kusadasi is a very nice place, we felt good. I recommend you to exchange your money in Turkish lira, if it is the first time you visit Turkey. The chances of being cheated when you want to buy something are very high. Many bazaars where you actually had to agree with the sellers on a price because they didn't have the prices displayed. There are no displayed prices even in the corner stores. It's a whole mess. Traffic is total chaos. All in all, it was a nice vacation, and I think we will come back next year, but definitely not in this hotel.
