great location, shops on the doorstep beach 5 minsroom clean but dated bonus of free aircon, we didnt use the safe as felt the room was safe enough, lovely staff and adequate breakfastgood size pool and bar and snack prices fairthe only down side was the first room we had overlooked the main road which we found too noisy and were lucky enough to move to a quieter room, if you think the noise of the road might bother you see if you can upgrade the room£25 to keep the room on, free wifi

Really disappointed with this hotel turn to up and the room was dirty.There were hairs from the previous occupants or the cleaner in the bathroom, the air conditioner was so poor that I had to buy a fan in order to cope, the pillows have been put through the washing machine so many times That they're just a disintegrated mess, in a pillow case, had to fold up the towels and use them as pillows. One of the rooms we had didnt even have a balcony.

Nice clean hotel Rooms- a bit dated but spotless, safe, fab powerful shower, air con could have been left on when out but only had one room card so aircon gos off when you go out.Comfy bed, could do with 2 pillows though.Pool area- never had a problem getting a lounger at any time of the day, plenty to go round, outside bar with a good selection of drinks.Breakfast- we only ate breakfast once, wasn’t much choice so we ate out every morning after that, the British pub on the corner do a good sized full English.The area itself is clean, plenty of shops and bars along the beach front, something for everyone, as first time visitors to turkey/ marmaris I would recommend this hotel, all in all we have had a fantastic holiday.

Booked 2 nights in the Alkan as I decided to extend my package holiday in a different hotel. Booked direct at reception and got a really good price. Day & night reception are so friendly. Was given an upgrade to a corner balcony on 5th floor. The views are amazing. The room is so big with a double and single bed. The rooms are spotless and maids come in everyday. Aircon is included. Mini fridge in the room. Great breakfast. Hotel is perfect location on the main road and close to the beach. Have booked a 2 week package for August so can’t wait to be back!

This was the second time for us in marmaris and we chose the alkan hotel again due to its very friendly staff,cleanliness,rooms are cleaned daily and we love this hotel and would pick this hotel again when we return as all staff made us feel very welcome
