  These apartments are brilliant, they are basic but just right for a family holiday. Clean and tidy the cleaner came every day. While we was there for 2 weeks.The staff are on another level, they are amazing. They couldn't do enough for you.We will definitely be back ??

  ????? – Ruined what should have been a family holidayI rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn other families about our experience.We booked this apartment expecting a one-bedroom apartment suitable for four people. Instead, it felt more like a tiny bedsit. We were all expected to sleep in one room with virtually no privacy. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and didn’t even have a headboard, meaning the pillows continually fell off the end during the night, waking the people sleeping on it repeatedly.The apartment was missing even the most basic essentials. There were no hand towels provided, only bath towels, which was incredibly inconvenient for a family of four. Each bed was supplied with just one very hard, uncomfortable pillow, making it even more difficult to get a good night’s sleep. These may seem like small details individually, but together they reflected the overall poor standard of the accommodation and showed a complete lack of attention to guests’ comfort.The air conditioning was completely inadequate. There was only one very small, old unit in the bedroom, and it only seemed to work on one setting. The rest of the apartment became unbearably hot, making it almost impossible to sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, there was confusion over an additional daily charge for the air conditioning, despite Jet2 initially telling me this fee would not apply.One of the biggest concerns was the owner/manager. Every time I contacted Jet2 for help, it appeared that he was informed immediately. He would then approach me, repeatedly calling out my name in a very condescending manner. This created an intimidating atmosphere, and I became reluctant to raise any further concerns because I no longer felt comfortable. I was travelling with my autistic son, whose anxiety increased significantly because of the situation, and the last thing I wanted was to create further confrontation.The windows were another serious concern. They felt incredibly unsafe, with very little protection to prevent someone from falling. I would never have felt comfortable allowing children anywhere near them.We were also only provided with one toilet roll per day for four people and had to buy extra ourselves when we ran out. For self-catering accommodation, this was disappointing and added to the feeling that corners had been cut throughout.Although we wanted to move accommodation, we were told we would have to pay a substantial upgrade fee, despite the issues we were experiencing. We ended up staying because my children were so upset at the thought of cutting the holiday short.This holiday took me working three jobs to afford, so it was heartbreaking to arrive and find ourselves in accommodation that was so disappointing. Instead of relaxing, I spent much of the holiday trying to resolve problems and worrying about the impact the situation was having on my autistic son.I sincerely hope improvements are made because no family should have to experience what we did.

  We absolutely loved our stay. We were very pleasantly surprised with how lush the apartment was. Huge space, tidy and lovely. Staff were amazing and we couldn't of wished for more. Would definitely go again.

  This hotel is a 2 star plus. It's a small family run hotel . The location is fantastic, 200m from the beach and water park and a stones throw away from town. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. The apartment was large, basic, and very clean. I would definitely return to this hotel.

  We were pleasantly surprised by this Avos. We are a family if 4 with a newborn baby and a 4 year old. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with twin beds, and the staff had made up a fold away bed and a travel cot for our children. We moved the fold away bed into the bedroom with us as that's the only room with air conditioning. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment itself was basic but spacious and very clean, with a large balcony. The kitchen is very basic and only has a kettle, microwave and 2 ring stove top for cooking. No dish cloths or tea towels were available for cleaning up after ourselves which I found a little odd, however the lovely cleaning lady comes in every morning to clean the apartment and make the beds.The air con in the bedroom is good. We were charged £10 per day for this, but I think that's fairly standard.The pool is quite small, but there was plenty of space for the number of people staying there. There's a poolside bar so you can have refreshments. You're not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the pool, but if you spend some money behind the bar, they didn't have a problem with us bringing our own water down to the pool. The location is excellent. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a huge array of bars and restaurants to choose from. There are 3 small shops only a few metres away, and the main road with more bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are also only a couple of minutes walk away. The old town and grand bazaar is around a 30 minute walk away but it's a lovely walk along the seafront. The only negative experience we had staying at Avos was the Manchester City bar across the road which, like many of the bars in Marmaris, play their music obnoxiously loud, so a nice night on the balcony with a glass of wine is pretty much impossible. They do tend to turn the volume down after midnight, but it's still loud and audible from the apartment with all the doors and windows closed. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay at Avos and would recommend it to any budget conscious travellers.
