For what you pay, it’s okay!

    rating07 Oct 2025

We stayed here for a week in September. I think the best bit about this hotel, is that you’re in a really good location so it’s a great base. You’re central to all of the main areas and you can walk to the main road in less than 5 mins, the beach in about 10. The hotel itself is clean, although the maid in our room wasn’t great (B-225). Our bedding was only changed once or twice during the week and there were a couple of days where we had to ask for fresh towels and even toilet paper when we had none (after she’d apparently been in!) On the days that she did come in to clean, I’m sure she only topped up the things I mentioned above, I’m 99% sure the floors were never mopped etc. The biggest downside to the rooms were the old fashioned key turn to lock and unlock the door. I haven’t been to a hotel before where you have to physically lock and unlock your door with a key rather than a key card. We were only given one key between us and we were told ‘no’ when we asked for a second key the following day by a reception guy. I then went back and asked somebody else later that day because one key between two people is ridiculous! especially when you’re not spending every minute of the holiday together. Any hotel I’ve been to, you always get two keys for the room and I’ve even been given a third in the past. There’s also no lift in the hotel. We never ate any dinners in the hotel as there are so many places surrounding the hotel nearby but we did have a few breakfasts. The food that we did have was fine. I do have to mention the people in the restaurant though, I’ve never actually come across such miserable young staff in my life! One of the guys which was a younger man who was quite stocky and two girls that sit and take payments at the bar, I never saw them smile once. It’s not a nice vibe to be around when you’re on holiday! A smile costs nothing. The pool area was good. Sun beds were never a problem to get, even if you got down to the pool later in the morning. There was always a sunbed or two left over. They played some decent music around the pool too. Also be careful in the hair dressers at the hotel. He tried to over charge me by telling me that he loses 20% (???!!!!) if you pay by card. So he was then trying to charge me £100 for an £80 treatment! My Turkish friend told me later on that they only lose 2-5%, so I’m not sure why he tried to charge me an extra £20! No one expects a 5* experience when the hotel is dirt cheap don’t get me wrong. So I think for the money you pay, it’s a perfectly acceptable base. It just would have been really nice to see happier staff with an occasional smile.

1st of all they need lifts as my friend is 60 & we got the top flat , 1st room we had to change to another room on the same floor the following day of the amount of problems we had , the other room was ok , we would have to wait until the next day to get a lower floor but it was too much hassle for us so we stayed in the 2nd room. Don’t go here too many things wrong with it. Sockets off wall , front door handle broken, wires hanging out the wall ., glass shelve broken in toilet & missing front of a drawer

    Family week away

    rating20 Aug 2025

We stayed in Room 412 block D, I was hoping we would get a top floor room but we ended up with a 2nd floor middle there's no lifts so you have to carry suitcases up the stairs, would I go back to these Apartments? Yes if the room had been better because the actual hotel grounds and restaurant/pool bar was lovely and the people couldn't do enough for you plus 5 minute walk from lots of bars/restaurants/shops and beach but the room was very dated we had a 2 bed apartment air con was 80 for the week for both bedrooms and you need to leave the doors open so it travels into the living room , balcony was decent overlooking the pool but there was a rusty 2 burner stove top thing, no cleaning stuff tiny glasses to drink out of a towel each that had to last 3 days before the cleaners came in same bed sheets for the whole stay had to ask for a kettle, the cleaners didn't even sweep the floors when they came in you could hear every voice, every door slam people stood on the stairs chatting and shouting, all furniture being moved around so no we wouldn't stay again because of the rooms, pool area very busy sun beds packed in like sardines we only spent one morning at the pool sorry for the long review but just wanted to be honest 🤷

    Pay for what you get

On arrival we was told you had to pay for air con £45 for 8 nights ( wasn’t stated on booking that this was a fee) First night I didn’t work so we didn’t sleep all night They did fix it the following day Our room was top floor ( no lift ), small balcony , room was clean and spacious for just 2 of us . No tv which is unusual Windows weren’t great so we heard all noise from road , people slamming doors most nights Cleaners - came in once during our 8 nights Hotel it’s self is clean , lovely pool and they dont hassle you to stay onsite which is what I liked Breakfast was basic but always found something to have , great location to blue port Pool- fantastic , massive pool and also had inflatables for people to use for free which was brilliant , plenty of sun beds for August and parasols Id return if we had a better room Was too many stairs , and noisy Wasn’t easy carrying suitcases that are heavy down by my self on check out I asked for help but got told no unfortunately ( room 123)
