  Do not stay here!

  Unfortunately our experience was very negative. Whilst other reviews have talked about how welcoming the staff here are it’s obvious that only applies to some. On one of the nights of our stay the evening entertainment included a man who dressed up in an all in one suit to make him look like a black man. This costume included a head piece that made the man look like a golly wog come to life and then guests were encouraged to come up and dance with this man. In this day and age this should be totally shocking to anyone but for myself and my partner who were the only black guests in the hotel this blatant display of racism was not only deeply offensive but made us feel unsafe. Needless to say we did not feel very welcome for the rest of our stay. ssuperr metcann, General Manager at Club Sun Smile, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback. They are an external entertainment group engaged to provide short performances for our guests, using different costumes and concepts as part of their shows. During the performance in question, there was no intention to offend, discriminate, or make any guest feel unsafe, and there was no action directed towards you or any other guest in a threatening or discriminatory manner.That said, we fully understand from your feedback that the costume and the presentation were perceived as deeply offensive. Although this was the first time this particular performance had been presented at our hotel, we also agree that it was not an appropriate choice of entertainment for our guests. For this reason, we have decided that this performance will not be repeated.We sincerely regret that this experience affected your sense of comfort and made you feel unwelcome during the remainder of your stay. This was certainly never our intention. We remain committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for every guest who chooses to stay with us.

  The staff were incredibly friendly, the bar staff would get the hose out and spray the people on the Jeeps and would spray people in the pool. The location is really handy, the migros is only down the road and the beach is only a 20 min ish walk away. Around the pool the atmosphere can be a little noisy, due to the three bars and the hotel opposite blasting music. The noise level can be noisy during the evening. The music around the pool adds a nice touch. The rooms were clean, had some ants though, the air con is placed in the main bedroom and can get very cold if left on over night. The cleaners come in at very random times, on one of the days we stayed there, they didn’t knock and just opened the door, on another day they knocked, on another day i was coming out the door and they were right infront of me and said “Hello, clean!!?” quite loudly right in my face. They also mainly just bring in new towels, replace the toilet paper and clean out the bins, that’s mainly all. The food at the resturant is really nice. I would recommend the chicken tenders (i’m very picky.) The music in the lift can be very annoying. You also have to pay for aircon and wifi but it’s worth it, the sun beds get filled very quick. But overall a really nice apartment!

  Great hotel staff go way out there way to make you welcome We have been going to the Sunsmile for years and every time we go we have a brilliant time.We would like to think we are part of the Sunsmile family our second home. Can't wait to return in September 26

  5 years here and no complaints ??

  This is our 5th stay at this hotel and we have no complaints. The reception staff are lovely and always there to help if needed. The cleaners do a great job, clean the rooms well and are always polite. The kitchen staff are very friendly always greet us. Their food is 10/10, some of the best food we've had in marmaris over the 30 years we've been coming. The waiting staff/bar staff can't do enough for you and always there to have a chat and laugh with. Management staff are always polite and greet us when we arrive. Thank you all again, already booked for next year.

  No faults at all!

  Great hotel, lovely and clean. Can't fault the place, the food is amazing, the staff can't do enough for you. The swimming pool is lovely and clean. Management, reception staff, cleaners and bar staff are all great. Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool area is always tidy.
