Really a nice place . Not exactly in the heart of the city , but far enough from all the noice , because Marmaris is a really loud city. The hotel is not updated , but is not old , is exactly what you need . Rooms are big , equipped with all you need.Food was good , buffet type .It has a clean swiming pool , and free internet.About the city , prices are in turkish lira or GBP(great britain pounds). Lots of english people , lots of bars with animators , loud music .The beach seemed really crouded,

Very good pools for children, best staff I have ever had on holiday,very welcoming, very clean and will do any for you, manager is a star anything we wanted he sorted please note no alcohol site. Food brilliant and drinks all day, very close to shops not too far from beach, massive rooms and balconies

Wonderful Stay at Comet Hotel !

We stayed as a family at Comet from the 1st May 2018 for seven nights. We chose one of their self catering rooms (primarily for our toddler) but also opted for the all inclusive food option. I was genuinely pleased with the service, welcome, members of staff and thr quality of the room and food. Each member of staff from reception through to restaurant and house-keeping always went out of their way to care for us and makesure that we had the most pleasant stay. An example of this; during our stay, we had to take our toddler into hospital and the hotel manager Çagri, organised this for us immediately without any hesitation. Furthermore, having not returned to the hotel after a few hours, the staff rang the hospital to locate us and makesure that all was well. Really, really genuine caring people.The apartment itself was fully equipped with all the utensils and cookware one requires. The kitchen diner has a nice and simple dining area, ample space with sofa and a television, leading to a nice balcony. The bedroom was also equipped with a TV, a lovely double bed, cot for the baby and both rooms have fully working air-conditioning. The shower suite is also nice and clean. A good sized wardrobe is available with ironing facilities also. Oh and a safe. The restaurant manager Mustafa was ever so caring, always making sure that the food, atmosphere and service was always right for us. We couldnt thank him enough. He is an asset to Comet Hotel. The food was great, can't fault it in any way whatsoever. Tastes fantastic and always pleased us, whenever we had it. The have am awesome outdoor facility where Hookah is available for the guests - spent some good night's there with some members of staff too!All in all, it was a delight to stay at this hotel. Ignore some of the old negative reviews, everybody has some trouble or other, but give this place a try, they really do work hard to make you're stay wonderful. I would personally like to thank Çagri, Mustafa, Emine, Bilun and the rest of the staff. We were genuinely overwhelmed with the love and care you showed us. We have stayed at comet, with our 2 young children in October for 10 days.On the positive side it's cheap (but you get exactly what you paid for), it does have a kids pool, it has a mini bus that takes you to the beach every day 3 times. It also offers free airport transfer. Staff is friendly.On the down side; the food is awful, and I'm only talking about a very limited choice, but the quality is the worst I've ever eaten. It is also being reused for the next day "dishes", which is a food safety issue. My kids were surviving on bread and fruits (which were only apples grapes and melon) and by the end of our trip we were buying food outside. The rooms are dirty, it is suppose to be cleaned every second day, but in 10 days we've stayed it has been cleaned 3 times, sheets were never changed, floor not even swiped and the bathroom disgusting. Towels not cleaned properly and have holes everywhere, and you need to ask for it at reception, just like you need to ask (it is not being refilled) for soap,shampoo, toilet paper. Kids pool has bees all over it, in and out by the pool, my daughter got stung in her foot, and I asked them to sweep the floor, they could not understand what I wanted and I literally had to do it myself. There are cats everywhere, they beg you for food when you eat (my youngest had been scratched twice by little kitten which made her cry), and when we got to kids pool on the first day, there was cat poo on the floor and INSIDE of the pool where my kids were!!Smokers are allowed to smoke everywhere, even in the kids pool are, there is a smoke stench everywhere and the manager is smoking with the stuff right next to you and your kids.Only one receptionist and a manager (who is playing board games all day long) speak good English, the rest - forget it. Location is far from sea and main Marina (about 40 minutes walk, or 10 minutes by car), and nothing around. Lastly, we have booked a transfer back to airport for 2.30AM, they made us wait till 3am, because they were singing happy birthday to a group of new arrived customers, gifting them a cake and stuff for kids (play packs with colouring etc) which we did not get on our arrival, in fact when I was asking for some colouring while our stay, we've been told that they don't have it. I felt that we were treated in a very dismissive manner upon our leave.Would not come back, there are loads of better options out there.

Thank you so much for our perfect holiday! We liked almost everything there: nice and clean rooms with air conditioning, flat TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, small hob and lots of essentials. Good choice of tasty food. Dining room clean and cozy, pools were always clean too. The big children's pool is really fantastic! Good size and many slides. But of course the main positive part is staff. Very friendly, helpful and professional people, they made our stay in the hotel pleasure and enjoyable. Special thanks to Emine!
