  Such a gorgeous, relaxing place to stay with fabulous, friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great stay. The rooms are basic, but facilities are adequate for general lunches/meals, and are kept clean daily with towel changes and tidying.I stayed on a B&B arrangement and the breakfasts were generous portions, freshly cooked and very tasty.I was lucky to get an apartment on the top floor (be aware, lots of steps!) with the most stunning views over the village, harbour and mountains and loved it! Though I think all apartments enjoy good views. The apartments are right on the harbour and offer easy access to boat trips, taxi boats, and local facilities. The village has a relaxed atmosphere and is a great escape from busy city life.

  CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT GOOD..... on arrival the hotel looks beautiful, the apartment was ok inside, very tired and in need of some tlc but the winner was definitely the beauty view from the balcony but sad to say that was the highlight of the hotel. We were disappointed that we had to pay £50 for air conditioning, due to it being around 30° in the evening so we had no choice yet this wasn't stated on the hotel website or the Jet2 hotels details on booking, just states "air conditioning"....Also the hotel website states FREE WiFi but again, we were disappointed to find that the WiFi only works in the restaurant area and they seem to have blockers to the hotel rooms as we could not get WiFi in the room even though we were directly above the restaurant area, and because I needed internet access for work and having 2 teenagers, this meant we had to buy roaming packs costing £100. The Hotel is also a self catering hotel yet only has 2 small crappy electric hobs that didn't even work and maintenance had to change it. NO toaster, NO microwave, NO oven.... That wasn't a massive problem as we did enjoy eating out to be fair but we still expected more from a "self catering" hotel... They didn't even have an iron in the rooms, when asked they didn't have one at all in the hotel so some of our clothes we could not wear. When I spoke to the staff about all the issues they got aggressive very quickly and could only reply "YOU HAVE TO PAY, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE" My partner and kids felt very uncomfortable at this point and borderline intimidated so we decided to just pay the bill and leave. Some of the staff were very friendly and the housekeeping is ok although they didn't clean the floor the entire week and seemed to just do the minimum of cleaning. We absolutely loved the views we got from the balcony but that's honestly all I can say we enjoyed from the hotel, if you have any mobility issues then this hotel is definitely not for you, they do have a lift to the main reception area but then it's a lot of stairs to the rooms. Overall, Turunc was beautiful and we will most definitely be back but we will not stay at this hotel again.
