  Expressions about Intermar hotel

  This is our first stay at the hotel so far, and we have only the best impressions first of all, the staff is very friendly, they are always there for anything you need, especially Ozgur who is very warm and nice and we quickly became friends with him. It is close to the beach, and the hotel is on the main street. The food is delicious and every day is different. The hotel has a swimming pool that is big with a lot of sunbeds around it and the water is very pleasant and I love to swim every day

  Cannot recommend, old and poor all-around

  The Good: Main assets of this hotel are its location and the nice big pool.Water slide is fun, but they turn it on twice a day for 30 minutes.The Bad: Building is old and rooms are old with small bathrooms and no working fridge (almost all the rooms). Only one barely working shower on the pool. No music at the pool and no after dinner activity.This hotel is half-All Inclusive. You can expect only 3 types of juice, cheap can beer and bad wine. Thats it. Theres no soda, no coctails and no snacks between meals at all. Coffee machine exists, but looks like it hasn't been cleaned ever. Turkish coffee is extra charged.The Ugly: Food is very bad and theres very little to choose from. Breakfast is the same every day, and dessert is always the same. Food that was not eaten is recycled, for example from lunch to dinner. If by any chance something gets cleared, they dont refill at all. Don't expect real meat, its not happening. Lastly, in my opinion most disappointing is that theres no fish or seafood at all. Probably the worst food of any hotel I've stayed in.

  Disappointing hotel

  On arrival the person signing us in hardly spoke just pointed. A young boy showed us to our room. The bathroom had mould in the shower and toilet was very clean. The bedroom/living room was ok very dated and paper coming away from the walls. The bed was supported by a concrete block which moved a few times. Breakfast was awful chips and Turkish kofte didn't seem right for breakfast. Drinks available was only tea and coffee, which I can't drink. The only place to get a soft drink was the bar which didn't open until 11 am and breakfast was from 9 - 10 am. Lunch was ok but basically the same everyday. Dinner was their best, but still not great, but again repetitive. Dinner was 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm. The bar closed at 9.00 pm, we had paid extra for ALL inclusive did not expect the bar to only be open 11 am - 9.00 pm. This meant most days and evenings we had to buy food and drink elsewhere which defeats paying for all inclusive. Also the bar only served 1 white wine, 1 red and 1 type of beer and soft drinks. None of these tasted great but for 2 and half days they ran out of white wine. As I only drank white wine, and soft drinks of course, this was frustrating. The pool closed at 6 pm, which with the heat we were having was too early, but they start clearing the sun beds at 5.30 pm. An elderly man came out just before. 6 pm shouting get out the pool so I did and before I was half down the pool to use the steps they started pouring in their chemicals. We heard quite a few families complain to the manager and one family was told "if they didn't like the hotel to go find another hotel" We found most of the staff to be a little rude, we knew they could speak a little English but chose not to. The chef did his best to tell us what the food was and the cleaners we polite. Our shower broke 3 times over 7 days on the third time the manager asked what are you doing to break it this many times? Nobody came to fix it so my husband fixed it. So I would not recommend this hotel we were quite disappointed by it.

  This hotel should be shut down it is NOT fit-for-purpose!! People have come home feeling unwell and have been treated for COVID incl. myself!! On arrival I was given my key and directed towards the lift! On entering the room it was dark and dismile I didn't even unpack! Opened the fridge nowt in it I was tired and thirsty so I went downstairs only to find an empty water cooler! I took myself out to buy some water at 2am!! After breakfast there was still no water so I complained later I found out that there was only 1 water dispenser for the whole hotel and it was lukewarm the 7 days I was there! After breakfast I was sick as a dog and for 3 days after! The manager blamed it on my long flight!!! I never ate nor drank at the hotel again! Their bar only served beer and wine again lukewarm, no bottled water for sale!!! Please please don't waste your money at this hotel no matter how you think its a good deal! The AI is a joke and closes at 9pm only offering warm beer and wine! This hotel is a disgrace for any visitor and tour operators should be ashamed of themselves for advertising this disgusting and dirty hotel! Remember people COVID does still exist!!!!

  Stayed here 23rd-30th July 2023. Arrived early hours in morning, no english speaking receptionist. He gave us our room key & didn’t say where we needed to go, we found the room ourselves. Once we went into the room we quickly found out that the door didn’t close. Went back down to reception to complain, the man came with us to check our room, i explained that i didn’t feel safe with the door not closing properly, as a young couple. The man laughed in my face & continued to watch his instagram videos. He then gave us another room which the doors locked but wasn’t much better, at this point we were tired from travelling so we kept it. Breakfast was standard turkish breakfast which we couldn’t complain. The pool is lovely and cleaned constantly, however, the slide was only on twice throughout the 7 days. The food was okay, basic but edible, for a 3 star can’t really complain. Also the staff that came at food times were lovely, they were younger and could speak more english and were welcoming and friendly. We were the only english in the hotel but that didn’t really bother us as we enjoy going out etc in the evenings so the days were just for relaxing around the pool. This hotel is not an all inclusive, they only had beer or soft drinks. When asked about vodka the man behind the bar said they don’t do vodka, i asked if there was an option to buy spirits, again was no.The main staff weren’t great all week, however, perhaps they didn’t understand much english. Although on the last night, me and my boyfriend went out drinking with one of the young men from turkish bath that works next to the hotel, who was also staying at intermar, as we had met him at the amore bar next door, who was great may i add! As he was obviously friends with the intermar staff, and the staff saw us walking in with him, suddenly the staff loved us and spoke to us, had some banter! The day we were leaving then waiting around the pool the staff had put english music on and was dancing with me, only reason because they knew we were friendly with one of their own. It’s just a shame that they couldn’t be that friendly at the start cause they seemed lovely at the end!I would stay at this hotel again if the price was much lower as we paid a lot for this. I would not go again with the prices they charge. If you asked, We would like to know what kind of answer you got, in order to provide a better service. We have half board, breakfast only or all inclusive options, you are given wristbands for this during your stay.Our hotel manager is usually present at the reception, our hotel manager speaks English and Russian, can you describe to us the person you say does not speak English?We would like to see you again in our hotel, we would like to stay in touch so that we can serve you better.
