Lovely little hotel on the outskirts of Icmeler. Comfortable furnishings, nice pool, delicious and plentiful breakfast, very friendly, helpful, pleasant and welcoming staff

Ver poor and not for people who like to relax by the pool

Really not sure how this hotel gets good reviews.Pool area is too shady so we had to use the pool in apartments down the road. The pool area is run down and shabby. Breakfast ok.Trees over growing building.Theres a small pool under a tree overgrown and out of sight.Staff are friendly but look bored and service isn’t up to the high standards we are used too in Turkey.Lady and desk (Presume manager) is sullen and not friendly. Our balcony was inside a tree.No one frequents hotel during the day.No atmosphere.Hotel is shabby(glass in lift shaft cracked) .Mural in shower was peeling off and falling in to shower tray. There boxes stacked up in rooms around reception. Its just shabby overall. No itemised bill so you don’t know what you’ve been charged for.Not a great experience and surprised no one bothers to report these issues

We chose this hotel based on the reviews but I am afraid the reviews did not live up to anything they suggested. Before I delve into the detail, this hotel has so much potential; the building is beautiful and has rustic charm and the location, albeit a 30min walk to Icmeler it is ideal if you want a quiet stay.I will try to be short but to the point. Upon arrival which was late, we were greeted by a young chap who asked our names and gave us our card - zero fuss, but zero welcome! We asked if there was food, and we were told go to the bar - who then said we are closed go to Tommys over the road (which we did and that place was a god send throughout the stay). But the atmosphere on arrival was not one that I have ever experienced in nearly 4 decades of worldwide travel - it was bizarre and almost like we shouldn't have been there. We then went to our room which was a Country Suite. Upon entering the room there was the most pungent smell of something similar to sewerage - seemed like it was coming through the air con unit. The room was tired although clean in appearance and the bathroom tiny, with a huge wasted open space that offered not much - but you could easily get another wardrobe in there, as the tiny one on offer with 5 hangers didn't cut it! The first night we didn't bother unpacking as we wanted to move rooms, and the smell kept us awake most of the night and feeling rough the next morning. We reported the smell to the manager where she made us feel like we were over reacting - we weren't, it was a health hazard - she was rude. After waiting 24hours we were moved to another room which was better, with the smell not as bad but infrequent. The manager hardly acknowledged our presence after this experience. This room again was tired with tiles in the shower coming away from the wall. The room was only cleaned upon request which meant running out of toilet roll and not having clean towels regularly. They only give you one room card per couple - not sure why but this was unhelpful. We didn't ask for another based on the room change saga! Breakfast????? Well, if you can call it that. Scrambled egg, mushrooms, toast, fruit etc was average at best, made even better with flies and cats roaming and having to clean your own table, to get a table, as there aren't enough to guest ratio. Every morning having to ask for plates, milk, teabags - I could go on. As previously mentioned, the building itself is beautiful with some real charm - but it's tired, and needs much attention. It would need to be closed for a season to put it right - its potential is vast. The pool area could be so much nicer but has very much like a jungle feel to it with tiny pockets of sunlight; the rest is covered by foliage and broken sunbeds. The staff are not attentive and seems that they were not being managed or guided properly. I came to the conclusion that the management is where this hotel is likely failing because the previous reviews are amazing - but I believe the management has changed recently. This hotel is listed as a 4 star on Jet2 who we booked with - I would give this a 2 Star rating at best but it could actually be a 5 Star.

Great traditional hotel fir those seeking an out of town quieter stay

    rating25 Sept 2025

Traditional small and friendly hotel. Clean, great staff great chefs. Plenty of breakfast choices.Comfortable firm bed. Clean towels refreshed regularly.Pool towels available.Small pool, maybe insufficient sunbeds, but generally found a space when needed.Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle and noise of downtown IcmelerLocal buses fab and cheap if you don't want to walk 20 mins to main townIcmeler itself not our kind of resort but we explored Silemye and Athos Bay and ancient ruins which were stunning places and we enjoyed a few boat trips (My Lara is the best) around the bays.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of İçmeler which was lovely and quiet. Tasteful decor, very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing, they couldn’t do enough for you and were always smiling. Easy to get the Dolmuş into both İçmeler and Marmaris, I will definitely return.
